Thank you Keeno, hopefully it'll be somewhat entertaining, pull up a chair and wack the kettle on.

Making plans with a stoner is like being with a prostitute. They tell you they’re coming, but you know it’s a lie.

Was thinking about northern lights. 5 or 6 12/12 from seed. Might be a bit much for this small space, Its only me and the wife so don't need too much.

Just subbed up to your current diary. Very similar setup. How quiet is the ghost fan? Need something quieter than my old school rvk. Not tried autos yet but i definitely will in the future.

My ghost fan is really a barthroom extraction fan ive got it pluged in to a humidity controller
so its not running all the time
But the fan is very quite bout 40db i push air in at the bottom
The rvk are a soiled fan id keep that may be look at a fan controller slow it down less noise dont need 100% extraction all the grow just in flower may be
Yh autos have come a long way over the years some are pretty good

I did buy a cheap fan speed controler (£40) but it just buzzed and being next to my bed, kinda drives my tinnitus crazy. Figured for the price of a decent controler i could probably get a small ec fan.MrNice wrote: ↑Sun Jan 30, 2022 12:06 pmMy ghost fan is really a barthroom extraction fan ive got it pluged in to a humidity controller

The cheaper ones play around with frequency bet off with the Variac Fan Speed Controller or an Ec fan but there not cheap tho
Cud try and sound proof the fan u can get acoustic boxs for fans also cut the noise down

Re: Mimosa orange-punch, L.E.D, grown by an idiot ;)
Welcome to GR420 @Herbalist , you'll find this a friendly place. Nigh on taught me everything I know.
If budget is not so much the issue, you could look into ACInfinity fans and controllers, they do a 4inch fan I believe. They are incredibly quiet.
If you are planning on always just running the 60x60 then they may be a worthwhile investment.
I would steer clear of black orchid 4inch fans, from experience they don't have the balls to get negative pressure in a 60x60.
I take it you've got a carbon filter. Any questions don't hesitate to post a question, this place is full of pros (I'm not one of them!).
Welcome!
