UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!

Well another week down and they are happy. Wanted to let them be as it is end of week 3 but the fan leaves are starting to block bud sights so will most likely do a defole tomorrow. Doing a res swap tomorrow and reset at higher newts. The stretch is done and at the end of 3rd week the crowns are swelling good.

These are looking good now @Back Room Farmer Just looking at your lighting how its set, can you not raise the light on left-hand side right up to top of room ? What with those led lights being more direct it looks like raising it a wee bit would provide more light for the plant as a whole, im going on just looking at pictures and at how lit up the plant on the right is on the whole with light set a little higher compared with light set on left you see. Just a thought now the stretching is over. Tbh it could well be leafage shading front a wee bit feck knows just looking again now like.

Part is the leafage and even though I said I would not do it again I need to defole some of the larger leaves to let light through

Update Update Update

So I know I said like I wouldn't do much anymore but after adjusting lights following guidance from 2Scoops, I was doing res swap and started looking really close and realized there were a ton of bud sites covered. Well we can't have that so I took care of it.

Enjoy!

End result. Now that being said I shouldn't have to do it again for the rest of flower.

Tbh im far from a fan of defoliating weed plants but growing how we do in smaller tighter spaces nowadays and proper cramming plants in, well i really think its more beneficial than not doing it, i mean it was pitch black in their not so now. I tend do it around 3 weeks all at once and remove most if not all big fan leaves and again usually around 7 weeks if it needs doing, usually on those longer 10 to 12 week strains . The quicker finishing kushy strain should only need it doing once. :nice:

As you can see just one day and buds have doubled in size and plants seem happier
