Jason and the Argonauts no way thought they'd knocked all them old films on the head mind you I haven't watched telly for a couple of decades altho i do use them apps like netflix and whatever to watch stuff when I want. I have great memories of them old films, Sinbad and the eye of the tiger I remember going to the cinema to watch this in the 70's was a close 2nd to Jason and the Argo's

I don`t mind watching older movies every now and then I'll proper pig out on them, usually western movies.

So i took loads more pictures, i don`t know when next update will be cus its Holidayz & season of good will and all that mumbo-jumbo, so i thought I'd take plenty for ya`s to look at. Oh yes I've slung 20liters of water into my rezz/tank to lower ec to around 0.8 now, what with plants slowing right down and run of climbing i thought it best thing to do, i was feeding both 10 liters between them to around 20% run off but now they`re getting 7 or 8ltrs between them to around same run off, which tells me plants are on a go slow down their. I've lowered night temps to around 18c and will prolly go quite a bit lower next week sometime, just to see if i can induce any of those super sexy purps colors day temps are around 27c, i was told once upon a time by a great guy to induce a bit of coloring if plant has that trait to give a temp difference of at least 10c between day and night temps, so i`ll go with that and give it a try. Anyhow theirs a shit load of pics for ya`s to perv on enjoy and have a great Crimbo guys & gals, cheers .

Looking good mate, did you get the ec under control?
I had the same with mine, ec was over 3.5 where I was cutting back on the amount I was feeding each day, just pouring in 1L per pot each day now and it seems to have corrected just fine.

Nah I've not bothered flushing them mate, im too lazy, i mean they will be going on water only for a few weeks, prolly from next Thursday or Friday. They should be good till then cus i just slung 20 liters of tap water into tank to lower ec right down which should stop it climbing inside pots now. Plants look sound enough brother so jobs a good en.

They are looking spot on, must admit I’m really starting to like coco, it does feel a little bit wasteful at the moment due to the amount of water I’m pouring in but I think that just psychological. A 25L barrel of feed will last the best part of a week, nft tanks take 15L and I had 4 so really I’m using about the same amount of water maybe less.
I’m hoping if I can keep it clean and keep the salt flushed out then should be able to re use this coco for a few grows?

Yes i make up 70- 80 liters in a big black bin and feed every 2 days, it lasts me quite a while then.

If its the Canna stuff i use it twice. i always add around 20% perlite first use and around another 10 to 20% perlite 2nd go. All i do when reusing is whip out the big rootball and pick out any other roots i can see quickly before running it under hot water tap for a few minutes to wash out older salts, i dont go ott removing old rootage though just a quick pick around.

Tis said you should then fill a bucket with a calmag water solution and pop the old coco in its pot in that calmag/water solution to soak overnight, it will just charge coco up again and buffer it back up. Cus plants hog that calcium and coco hogs it too, but I've never done it, but i should really cus i do tend to notice smaller leafage etc when on a second grow and sometimes odd paler looking plant during early stages till i get it rocking. I always try to use new coco for seeds or cuttings.
