@Growmie , make sure you use the web version of youtube not the mobile or application version. Copy the link from the browser http not the 'link' functionality within youtube.
Your browser may be set to display only short web addresses (just the domain.com/vh4u9vjk bit) it needs setting to display the full web address https://www..... and copy this from the browsers address bar before pasting the link using the forum YOUTUBE tags or typing in the tags [youtube]full https link here[/youtube]
At least thats what I have found. Way easier on a desktop then a mobile/tablet. OR, select the desktop version of the youtube site when on mobile to access the correct, fully resolved web address.
No, doubt different rules apply to differrent phones and setups etc,. but that ^^^ works for me when I hit the problem first few times I tried pasting in a vid.
Could be one for @Minty to tweak his tab handler to accommodate more link types? (Sorry if its straying into techy territory peeps)
