For sure. The breeder who preserved this NL5 in Seattle in the late 90s said this pheno was uncharacteristically frosty. This time more so it seems.

About 2.5 - 3 weeks to go.

This has been very interesting indeed.

You plan on doing another run then? Sounds good to me.
Thanks and yes, I've been running the same NL clone for nearly 1.5yrs so it will run again.

I have cuts of the two Guerilla Fume along with cuts of two males. Never chucked pollen before but have to do a seed increase next run. So that will be interesting. Need to work out if I can flower the males separately, collect the pollen so I can dust a branch or two next round. Sounds easy eh?!
Well there's only one way to learn properly I think and that is by giving things a try.

Exactly right. Trial and error has got me this far, plus a thick skin for when things screw up! Only way to learn.

Slightly late on the weekly update but there have been some interesting changes;

We are at 7 weeks and 3 days since flip...

Living Soil NL5 clone is fading fast while the bottled nutes clone is still green. I've just stopped feeding the bottled clone so will expect some fade.

Just get the feeling that the living soil clone is behaving naturally, or I've not topdressed enough and it's deficient!

Bottled nutes clone does have much larger buds but comparing trichomes shows the living soil clone is cloudier with more clear on the bottled nutes clone.

Could it be the living soil is maturing more naturally? There's more buds but they are smaller and when dry this phenos buds do shrink.

It's a fast clone, 8.5/9 weeks max. Leaving it longer will make it swell more, but it's sleep juice.

So will aim to chop in about a week. The jury is still out on yield and this little lot will be cured 6-8 weeks after dry before trying it.

In other news Guerilla Fume pheno1 is starting to consume itself as per protocol for the chem91.

Pheno2 of Guerilla Fume. This one has been clockwork and is now on plain water for the next 2 weeks or so, just starting to fade;

Nice one.

Can't wait to see the end results. For me it would be the taste and quality. But also interesting about the end weight.

Keep it coming 😁

Thanks and agreed, it's only about the quality. It's the advanatge when you only grow for yourself, the missus and medically for an ill mate.

The weight thing is me being anal about the comparison! and the fact the two plants have grown so differently. I'm no expert in living soil this being a first time but I'm favouring that grow so far. It's been fascinating.

Cheers for dropping in.
