TK X TK NL5 Haze X Lime 1 Bx by Brandon Rust

Currently battling what I believe to be soil pH problems, I added 2 cups of lime to a pot, tilled the soil, transplanted the re-vegged TK cut and threw it in a flower tent between two PK/MK Ultra plants. This is day 0 of flower. If it makes sense, I’ll continue to update this with pics; otherwise, TK2 flowers after this run.

The pH on the soil test was 5.3, add lime to increase soil pH. I need to be in the mid six level I suppose, so yes I added 2 cups.

Day 7 of Flower. Plant seems to be taking well to the lime adjusted soil. In addition, I removed some of the lower leaves so as to not get confused with any pH affects if seen in the future.

Day 0 Flower

I decided to scrap the two PK/MK Ultra crosses, till in two cups lime each pot, and transplant two TK2's. I have no additional clones of this cut; TK2 is a mad stretcher, stems are weak and tester nugs are smaller in size. I do like how regenerative the plant is (i.e. branchy).

Regardless, TK2's are on left and right of the middle plant, TK. The TK plant is two weeks ahead of this schedule.

Day 7 & 21

More on this debacle, TK2 on the left suffered a broken root ball at transplant. About 50% of the root mass was affected, but this plant is starting to do well. TK2 on the right suffered a few broken branches. TK, in the middle, showing a load of deficiencies on the fan leaves starting at the bottom.

Likely that each of these pots will get another cup of lime after this run. That will be a total of four cups lime added per pot.

Day 14/28/14

Essentially, hoping for the best but realistically I don’t expect this run to be any more photogenic. They look like shit. All pots at 3 of 4 cups lime amendment; deficiencies visible but not nearly as bad as what they could be.

Day 21/35/21

Same ole story. Each pot needs an additional cup of lime tilled in, plants showing deficient as a result of the low soil pH. However, both plants showing some improvement when compared to prior test runs.

TK, the middle plant, is continuing to necrotize leaves. Test runs on TK2, the left and right plants, showed a massive stretch and spotty potassium deficient sugar leaves but not so far on this run.

It`s a real shame you keep getting this problem m8 cus their would be shed loads of real nice buddage just going by how those buds look. I`d have lost patience persevering with that soil long ago Anova, but im not most patient type with things like this.

It is a shame and I am at my breaking point. But I have been able to see some of the improvement, even if it is super slow. I'll continue to add the last lime amendment, but might retire the dirt. Not sure just yet, but bagged soil would be better. I'm already looking toward future grows with another new soil if needed.
