I'm using tap water and dropping the ph down to 6(ish) with a spot of cider vinegar.

When I start feeding them, the ph will need upping and I use bicarb of soda for that.

Yer but your in mud. shouldn't need to ph at all, if i did that my plants would yellow out. even if its ph7 out the tap its fine. I just leave to stand for 2 days if using council pop to evap the clorine, cloramine, floride what ever shit is in your water. Or better still rain water.

If your growing in coco using dry amendments then yeah ph 6.5, but your in mud... or am i missing something here.

as soon as i stopped ph'ing water with mud, i've had nothing but lush green forests unless i do something.

:ummmm:

No im not saying your doing it wrong, just never herd of ph'ing in soil unless theirs alot of coco... when i switched from synthetics i carried on ph-ing to recommended levels, must had grown 20 plants that all had problems. Went away the day i stopped adjusting ph in mud.

If it works it works...
