Peeps usually say as a rule of thumb to give 2 weeks on top of the recommendation. ....but.....
Breeders will count from when they see 1st signs of female parts, not when they flip to 12/12, especially if it is autos of course.
A little horses for courses as people do, grow and train all in different ways.
That is my take anyway.
