Re: Fruit cake and abit of Runtz
Well thinking about starting again because I saw a few nanners and they where open and I don't want a crop of seed I'm fucking gutted but it may be the right choice. the humidity was out of control and I needed to thin out and I may have went about heavy on the girl but that's the consequence

Lots of brown hairs on buds can be a sign that its been pollinated, especially if its way to early for bud to be ripening up.high-as-ya-like wrote: ↑Mon Oct 11, 2021 7:31 pmso one of my rainbow runtz shot nanners I'm hoping pollen didn't get everywhere hopefully I got it in time. she would have been a beast aswell gutted

Re: Fruit cake and abit of Runtz
Those nanner cocks start producing pollen asap and some nanners may not be noticeable to start and they can basically cause damage inside buds too. The nanner type of hermie lots tend to be stress related rather than it poor genetics, but its not always case. Too much light or heat from lighting being too close can cause this shit a lot of the time up top on buds.high-as-ya-like wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 1:17 pmaye there's a few of them aswell I think I'm guna start again2-Scoops wrote:Lots of brown hairs on buds can be a sign that its been pollinated, especially if its way to early for bud to be ripening up.high-as-ya-like wrote: ↑Mon Oct 11, 2021 7:31 pmso one of my rainbow runtz shot nanners I'm hoping pollen didn't get everywhere hopefully I got it in time. she would have been a beast aswell gutted

Re: Fruit cake and abit of Runtz
I`m not sure tbh mate, its only what I've read in past, but yes i think so. Don`t go pulling plants with odd brown hairs that your think are appearing early cus of pollination, that does happen naturally anyhow with some strains.high-as-ya-like wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 1:57 pmfuck nose mate am sick tho so with the brown hairs do they always go brown when pollinated so I will be able to Identify the seedy buds ??2-Scoops wrote:Those nanner cocks start producing pollen asap and some nanners may not be noticeable to start and they can basically cause damage inside buds too. Re: Fruit cake and abit of Runtz
Here ya go i found this on RQ site apparently its only end of hairs/pistils that turn brown and shrivel up >>>>>>
"You can also tell if pollen has fertilised a female plant by paying close attention to the pistils—the flowers' reproductive organs. These hair-like structures change in colour over the course of the normal flowering phase from white to dark orange or red. In unfertilised flowers, the entire pistil will undergo this change. However, following exposure to pollen, only the tips of the pistils turn dark, whereas the “stalk” remains white."
