Hey buddy she looking great. I seen you say that you stopped your auto I have never done as I am growing my first two autos now .. but do you think topping it stunts its growth as I have heard that. Or do you have to do it early enough so it can recoup ? I have seen some people top and it sets it right into flower maybe cause of genetics?

Yeah normally I top on day 14 or when she gets to her fourth node not had any stunted growth aslong as your enviroment is ok humidity and temp

Not had a problem so far more about controlling light levels with me to get them off and going how i like them

With the light levels i use normally always top on day 14 thats when i find the forth node ready to top like clock work it seems

When u say light levels you mean you raise the light or turn it up ? Yea I am going to try autos again in a few months after my sweet gelato auto is done and after I do some testers. Buy definitely will be followingg this grow. My first watermelon punch auto well not sure if that's it I think went very well for my first time I had bud rot on one bud and found a seed than found another on another part it was all cloudy so I chopped it wanted to wait another week or two but was afraid it affect my other auto which I thought I trained it good however it got away for me so now I am not getting enough light at the bottom area. I'll definitely reach out again when I do autos if I have questions . So after chopping my auto it's been three days or so it kinda smells like dead grass hay but smells like weed also does that go away after I cure ... havent been the greatest at curing over the years. Also will my buds tighten up as it seems they are squishy airy kind of like lost its firmness when it was alive

Tbh Wayne now just leave the light set to max and just move the light to my desired height and move it up when its needed

lol "found a seed" yh i found about 15 seeds once in an auto grow gave a couple to a friend who growing them now said to him may be 50/50 on male or female but they seem to be girls so all good

Yeah Wayne have to keep my girls short as my tents only tiny like 60x60x140 tight node spacing

So with some topping and LST you should be able to spread the canopy out get equal light to all your buds

With reguards to the hay smell should go with in 4 weeks just keep airing your jars and after 8 weeks be perfect if you not smoked it all by then like me

They should do over time as they dry dont rush the cure
if it all goes south then turn it into rso oil done that before when things have gone bad on a grow or ive forgotten to air the jars lol

So far I when I started the last few grows I had it at like 50 to 75% strength of light while seedlings as they grew I just adjust the light and the height. My tent isnt big either it's about 2x3 2x3 5ft tall I think I did that right lol so it's a good for autos or if I train the crap out of photos but havent done a complete grow of those yet. With the auto that I found the two seeds which weren't fully developed I cut that plant down as all of the trichomes where cloudy I wanted a bit of amber but was afraid of pollinated my other auto. I am not sure if it was environmentally my fault which stressed it or it did it on it's own . Ok thank you I have the plant hanging still going let here dry out some more than trin than jar to cure should I pop it for 10 minutes atleast a day might try my humidity packs. Thanks for your help mate much appreciated

Alot of things can stress your plants Wayne only been growing couple years now myself so still learning but since ive kept the humidity and temp with in range hardly get any purple stems
On the this grow the top leaf stems are purple due to the light strength as all the lower leaf stems are green also the top leafs are serrated from the light being too strong

Ive been nice in the past with the light strength got low numbers so now just bang it out serrated leafs are good for me last two auto grows pulled 6 zips dry so treat them mean in some ways just becareful not to bleach them tho

with reguards to jarring they say 10 to 15 mins a day and only fill your jars half full leave an air gap

not used any humidity packs just wack one of these in a jar and check the humidity daily till get to 55% then done in my books will take a good month and after two months will be bangin
