Afton wrote:HaydenR4238 Your girls are doing just fine for outdoors. Give then the nutes they need and you will be surprised at the end. What I have done if the plants are dirty is to dip them in ice water. The colder the better. Plus any live bugs come crawling out to get out of the cold water and you kill them. I would pluck off all the yellow leaves though as they will attract bugs. My outdoor autos were around the same size as your are. They do love the sun though and with the amount your getting and if it stays I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
Good luck with the sun and hopefully more sun will be less humidity.
I’ll look into the ice water mate, I imagine adding the baking soda and lemon would be more thorough! Have been feeding organic dry amendments, first time using them it seems to be doing okay. I’ve got a bag of the “ bloom 2 “ that I’ll be using at the weekend, that should hopefully be enough to see them out.

I did actually take off all the yellow leafs after the pictures were taken. They are nice and green again now! Thanks mate

Thanks man! Noticed some purple hairs coming through already actually. Temps have been round about 21c daytime 12c night time so a big enough swing to help the colours blossom! I should have at least 1 or 2 purple phenos out of the 4 PKs I should think

Disaster has struck covering them with a tarp isn’t really an option as it will be too noticeable. Can’t take them in because there in the ground, what should I do?

I’m going to harvest the one that’s closest to being done so I’ve at least got something safe, had a wee sample of it already and it’s not bad for where it’s at.

As for the others they are definitely far to early to pull. Should I just hope and pray they pull through? I’ve not watered them all week in anticipation for this weather coming. Going to strip as much leaf as I can, can’t really think of anything else I can do! Image

i just went through thunder storm in ontario,ca. i did giant net over all off my plants so wind wouldn't snap water logged branches. i'd did like sea of green outdoors. the buds suck up the water and the wind snaps the branches so extra support best you can and harvest broken branches after storm. hopefully you only have few broken branches after.

Thanks I never thought about that! They are quite well sheltered from the wind actually but time will tell as I don’t have anything lying around I could use for netting. I may try and stake them up

Well I ended up pulling 1 today it wasn’t quite ready but decided to chop it anyway just to cover myself. Had the last day of sunshine today for I’m not sure how long! It’s not looking good at all though.

2 are starting to fatten up now 1 of which is the GSC but they are very leafy and that’s where my concern is coming from when the rain comes, tried to remove as much as possible today got rid of the worst of it.

The other 2 are weeks behind. 1 small one which isn’t getting as much sun as the others and then the biggest of the bunch, still very early in flower. Never took my phone with me today but will get some more pics up soon. Will be daily checks from now on to try get any problems sorted early!

Oh well, got my Q out of it at least! 18g wet so I’d say 7g was a fair enough guess. It’s currently pouring down outside and it doesn’t look like stopping until Thursday so I think I made the right call. It’s a shame because looking at what I’ve got now I think it would of been very nice! Just need to wait and see what I can get from the other 4 now. Either way I’ve made my money back now!Image
