Damp traps ...? how good are they duke
hi mr nice there proving themselves and the pictured one has only been in about 40 hrs and has collected atleast a large mug full and with 2 in the drobe it lowers rh about 10% ROUGHLY and as they hang on the wall there not taking up useful space,i only use them during wet weather or when buds are near finished as i worry the proximity of them could be detrimental to foliage and i think when rh is day after day above 80% anything worth a try,and shocked tbh how well they work, only downside is they full in 2-3 days and need changing.
used to use the other type they sell but that took some space on the net and maybe damaged some foliage so hanging on wall suits better i think, got to 66 days flower and high rh makes me nervous,
though not sure how well they would work in a bigger space i guess you would need a few at a time, peace :bye:
You not thought about a small dehumidifier been thinking about gettin one get the rh to sit at 45rh for last weeks of flower just plug it in to my controller
Got both my tents in different rooms so depends on rh in the house and time of year
in the winter its ok cos the central heating lowers the RH to 30ish so make up the differance with the humidifier

Might give the bags ago if i can find them in our local shop cheers duke :thanks:
hi mr nice because i grow in 3 drobes i doubt a single dehume would work in the room and nowhere to fit in a drobe safely and tbh its only odd weather events that cause me worry rh wise.
im also very lucky as my fave keeper the tangerine dream seems pretty much immune to budrot, touchwood ive had it on other strains once or twice but even when they all laying down over each other the tangie stays rot free.
the vanilla kush currently flowering is more of a worry as it has very dense buds and rh above 80% for about ten days prompted the trip to poundland!
anyhow heres a quick update with pics, first up the outdoor sunroom spliff seeds medical kush auto at 100 days from germing got chopped tonight due to the frankly ludicrous temperature in the sunroom as seen in the following pics, then some of the barneys zkittles og auto in my veg cab again at 100 days old but still firing out masses of pistils showing no signs of slowing down and as im not in a hurry she staying put for a little longer, then the vanilla kushes at 71 days of flower and growing well considering temps got up to 35c before i swapped out the hps for the led 2 days ago.

Looks like a good harvest coming your way.

hi all just a quick update today as i been working all day building my new powerchair and have proper worn myself out!
well first of i harvested the indica pheno of the barneys vanilla kush at 76 days 12-12 and 10% ish amber trichs perfect for smoking and its for me this time so just how i like it noone is getting any of this one exept my tina and myself and am looking forward to toking her she smells fecking lovely  i still say it one of barneys best.
so with a space going spare i had a switch around and by angling the led managed to fit the bloody great huge enormous pita known as zkittles og auto still looks like every pistil is still white and very few milky trichs most are still crystal clear at 108 days of life but now its out of my veg cab the poor clones should get some light atleast, but there now sharing with the twice flowered now revegging tangerine dream 2014 clone sporting a sexy new airpot a whole 7 ltrs to play in along with another tangerine dream clone also in 7 ltr airpot but a lot smaller plant atm.
some pics of the spliff seeds medical kush auto from outdoors harvest and some of the vanilla kush indica pheno harvest :puff puff:

I'm jealous of your continuous selection of genetics @duke. I wish I could be consistent with autos as it's a good way to have a lot of strains on the go and down in reasonable time. I'm playing with the idea of a auto area in the loft but I'll have to wait and see what's temps are with main groom fired up first.

Lovely in here as always brother 👊

hi keeno i wish i could get consistent results from the autos but i seem to have many oddball ones even when there reputable breeders beans, funny enough my best have been from forum members breeding them @zenarcher cindy jocks and gsc autos using dutch passion genetics but even then theres very much variation so a bit of luck needed.
well tonight i chopped the other barneys farm vanilla kush the sat dom one as some of the buds are very dense type and several fan leaves had faded away and the petioles so deep in the bud i worried about budrot so i have 12 buds total from the 2 plants, normally id be upset but i recon they weigh a fare bit and hopefully dont shrink to much when dried and as there for smoking rather than oil i took them a little earlier than normal.
so in my normal no space shall remain empty more than a night i replaced the vanilla kush with the ex motherplant tangerine dream 2014 and lowered the led a much as the stupid never finishing zkittles og auto will allow, still not looking done in any way pistils or trichs and my patience is wearing thin now so i see her meeting the secateurs soon! :ak:  looks a mix of top cola fairly solid and rest fluffy shite only fit for oiling so i hope its got some potency or i will be
i shall get some pics up of harvest tomorrow, thanks for looking in and comments, cheers :puff puff:

This was always my issue with autos, the inconsistency of them. Not knocking them i just got tired go devoting a big space to them as half being completely different to the others.

Have you tried any seedstockers? They send us a good few and I buy in bulk from them for the forum. More than a few members have had some mad results with them.

hi keeno and all no not tried seedstockers yet and was looking at there autos the other day then you changed the store and i cant find seeds at all now!
anyhow sorry for the slacking on updates but i have not been well and not feeling very sociable, but even though i been slacking i did get all the flowering plants down dried and jarred/in freezer ready for the oil run which i have started tonight using approx 6 oz of jolly good weed a bit from each strain and this time have ensured that i have a smoke for a while as well for a change   :Stoned: :Stoned: :Stoned:
i didnt get any pics of the buds at harvest time as i just blitzed them asap but took a pic of the stash all in my own fridge along with cider and munchies.what more could a man want? my idea of paradise
i have taken a few pics of the replacement girls and must say even though ive been growing the same tangerine dream pheno since 2014 she continues to amaze and stun me with the ability she has to survive and thrive even after being flowered out twice and reveg now 3rd time she just keeps growing and giving!
also have a couple of clones of each of the 2 barneys farm vanilla kush phenos but they been knocked back a bit in the schedule and usurped there spot by the 2 tangerine dreams meaning the vks will get about 8-10 weeks vegging so be ready to take over from the next bunch and should fill screen fast.
not weighed harvest but guess around 3-4 oz per plant indoors and about an oz each on the outdoor autos.
the barneys zkittles og auto took 120 days from seed to sad mediocre potency fluffy shite and the rest of the packet of seeds is getting binned a sad waste of time and unlike barneys normal strains,im sticking to there photoperiods from now on. anyhow im knackered and need a spliff so heres me pics and thanks for reading if you got this far, peace
ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage the handsome mrfugly,peace all

Hi Duke, Nice one on the harvest.

I see you have very good taste in marmalade.

I like it smeared on very buttery toast (salted French butter), with a slab of that English Cheddar wedged inbetween.

I sometimes sneak a layer of primula squeezy cheese in there too, depends if there's any left after making primula and mini cheddar scooby snack towers.

PLants look good as always. :oik!:

You still using that homemade still to reclaim the ISO?

:bye:

hi marcus yes my fave anytime food is toast and real butter and tiptree marmalade, damn i got the munchies now! :bang head:
primula has gone downhill imo and used to be much tastier till they started all that low fat crap  so i stick to proper good mature english cheddar :i agree:
and considering ive been a right sick slacker for a week or so the plants look happy enough for now and i am looking forward to getting the scrog nets filled again its so much better/easier and bigger harvests normally but only from clones and vanilla kushes was a seed grow so not greatly productive but gives me a smoke and chance to see if i want to run them again which i surely will but only after another tangerine dream run at which point the vks will be big enough to fill a drobe hopefully.
the condenser is still in regular use and will be in action tomorrow afternoon as we very low on oil stocks for tina and in currently helping a friend out with oil regime for chemo symptoms and there even growing there own weed now and had never had anything to do with weed in there life, its a funny old world as about 25 yrs ago they was part of brighton police drug squad! thanks for looking in,peace
