Plants are doing well albeit some better than others.

The GSC so far is smoking the rest of them, have a stand out PK as well I’ve been defoliating a little bit, followed by the PK I topped, should of had 4 tops but 1 was eaten.

The other 2 are runts really, 1 is too close to the wind bushes and the other might of had a bit of transplant shock. Happy to have 3/5 doing well though not complaining!

Got some pretty sad looking plants unfortunately. Weather has been really poor and humidity has been in the 90s, noticed some mould growing on a lower branch and the start of another problem on 1 of the leafs.

Did a pretty extreme bit of defoliation there, fortunately the weathers looking great for the next couple weeks at least!

It was always just an experiment anyway. The Scottish weather just doesn’t quite cut it I’m afraid to say. Be better in a less damp environment like a patio though for sure, and also better in a pot so they can be taken in from the bad weather! Lessons learned. Think I’ll stick to indoor growing though haha.Image

hi hayden thats a shame but your not the first ive seen having trouble with outdoor growing in scotland, its bad enough here in south east of england rain has hardly stopped for weeks and even my autos in the sunroom protected from the rain have suffered budrot due to ludicrous high rh 94% this morning in there but ive one left a spliff seeds medical kush auto and so far very pleased as its still looking good and growing daily visibly but no idea how long that will last but praying the weather dries up soon! so maybe not be thinking about giving up the outdoor but try more suited to outdoor genetics and with some luck get a mature harvest next run,i keep learning what works and what dont and can recommend cindrella jack aka cindy jock i did good first run during the first lockdown and got an oz or more of each of 6 plants in small pots and topped them and bent them to keep them short and not visible to nextdoor,
better luck next time aye,peace

Yeah I don’t think there’s much getting away from a bit of rot in the uk! Weather has been extra poor for this time of year as well which doesn’t help matters. I picked the purple kush because it’s supposed to be pretty resistant a grow anywhere plant if you like! It certainly grows I’m just not sure what’s going to be smokeable at the end of it all!

Have a purple lemonade and dos si dos growing in my tent, but it’s outside in the garage and suffering much the same high humidity levels. Bit more protection in there though and easier to control the environment.

The weather has been a nightmare @HaydenR4238. I feel for you battling it outdoor. A late winter and now this weather normally adds up to a nice late summer. Hopefully it gets better.

Yeah it was really bad mate it’s looking up now though and to be honest it could have come at a better time! Another 3/4 weeks of the current climate and I should be just about in the clear

Day 62 today. It’s a sad looking garden but to be totally honest I’ve pretty much just left them to it with minimal effort put into them so I can’t complain.

1 of the PK is getting really frosty which I was delighted to see! Looks to be a good bit ahead of the others, that’s the one I topped. 2-3 weeks for that one, longer for the rest for sure!

I think I’m definitely going to have to clean these plants in baking soda and lemon juice before smoking anything. If I end up with some problems with mould and mildew I’ll be using a similar method to help combat that as well, anyone ever done that before? Seems very legit and very good practice for outdoor plants. Especially plants full of bugs and shit like mine.

I’ve put barely any money into this outdoor effort.

£20 seeds
£20 soil
£30 nutrients

That’s the price of a Q where I live so if I can get a Q back and the experience under my belt I’ll be content haha. I should definitely manage over a Q though! Image

@HaydenR4238 Your girls are doing just fine for outdoors. Give then the nutes they need and you will be surprised at the end. What I have done if the plants are dirty is to dip them in ice water. The colder the better. Plus any live bugs come crawling out to get out of the cold water and you kill them. I would pluck off all the yellow leaves though as they will attract bugs. My outdoor autos were around the same size as your are. They do love the sun though and with the amount your getting and if it stays I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
Good luck with the sun and hopefully more sun will be less humidity.
