Re: Encrypted Garden Run #001
Run-Off Update:
Will include what I fed to reach 3.0. in the next update.
Finally managed to get 30% run-off from Trizzler the little fatty after feeding her almost 7L but worked out that can get around 20% from around 5L shame Hotz only need 3l for the same result. Hurry up next week so can add stopper values and a water counter oh and a 16mm water filter, back to alien I go. lol
https://www.alienhydroponics.co.uk/Shop ... ge-filter/
or
https://www.alienhydroponics.co.uk/Shop ... lter-16mm/
I think this system will turn into my veg one, as my upgrade idea for the flower room will need 19mm/25mm pipes as of the PVC part.
@Keeno. Some people may think I'm stupid for running this high, my view is let's try if shit hits the fan, so be it be horrible to lose everything but then in the future, I'll know what to expect. I believe Hotz will handle it better than the other as has had no tip burn yet. Trizzler has a little not much tho but has brought out a slight mag issue, which is surprising.
I've used Silicic Acid instead of potassium silicate, Don't think I could go back, Silicic Acid is worth the extra money.

Silicic Acid:
I have now stopped using it as you don't really use it on flowers unless you're going for weight.
The drippers I'm using is this
https://www.diy.com/departments/claber- ... 551_BQ.prd
Did try the 2l/h drips but don't this the pressure was right as some poured some dripped, but as I'm using a 15l/39gal pot would need like 8 to cover it all per pot. Them micro-sprinklers I only need 2 and if you don't angle them right they spray the door lol.
Next time tho going stick will prob 7.5l/2gal pots.

Silicic Acid:
Plus bouns if their stretch got too big add a double dose of silicic acid to slow/stop it from stretching as much.Resistance against abiotic (environmental: temperature, wind, drought)
Resistance against biotic stress (pests and pathogens)
Improves uptake, absorption, and utilization of nutrients
Stronger cell structure and epidermis layer creating stronger plants and thicker stems (increases dry weight)
Reduces and controls the space between internodes caused by temperature stress and unbalanced nutrition
Increases resistance against salinity (nutrient salt buildup)
Reduces transpiration (loss of moisture from the leaves)
I have now stopped using it as you don't really use it on flowers unless you're going for weight.

Where the salts go, the water will follow

So following their high feeding yesterday, They I presume liked it as trizzler still praying and Hotz her normal self. The only thing I can see is a small mag issue on trizzler as finally push a lot of water out and the ph read 5.5/5.6, but I'm a few feeding time should be back to 6.1-6.4. So atm I'm not that worried

A bit hotter in there than I'd like but everything still looks fine, going flush trizzlers on Monday i think as her run off is still 5.5, I believe this is causing a mag issue which isn't getting any worse
Also changing my control monitor to a sensorpush htp.xw, this control monitor will be put in my veg tent as the sensorpush is replacing it.
