Skywalker OG X High MAC by Smileys Garden

Christmas 2020, I happened to win a pack of gear from Smiley at Smileys Garden called Malibu Pie (Ocean Grown Seeds). Smiley also sent me a small container of his own SkyWalker OG X High MAC. Just today, I saw a pack of Malibu Pie on an IG auction of sorts; right after that I saw an advert for High Mac. In the past few months, Smiley has let some details out – these are tester seeds, goal is to preserve the Skywalker OG flavors, and this was his first cross. Regardless, everything I’ve read about these strains sounds real good.

Meanwhile, I been staring at this pack of seeds/mini jar of seeds for two hours wondering how it was gonna come open. Granted I’ve eaten 3 brownies. But once it came open it was such a relief. I thought I gotta ask Smiley how to get this effin thing opened. Pmsl. #Karma

Probably the best part of having this cross to play with is it was a blessing to receive. Totally unexpected. Second best part of having this cross…none of you other fookers have it (forgive me Smiley)! Although you’re all on the Amy Aces train, I feel left out. I’m like a one man forum over here.

Today, my standard protocol is to soak the seeds in water the night before, then place into rapid rooters the following day (night of the full moon). These five seeds will be germinated under a CLW SolarSystem 550, 40% power in my 18/6 veg area. Once clones/seed stock are ready for flower, they will begin their cycle in a 2X4 tent under a CLW SolarSystem 550 at 50% power (200W). At D21, I begin increasing the power 10% every 2-3 days until 100% is reached.

Full moon doesn’t come for another nine days but we are in the waxing (building) stage. So, I’ll soak five seeds and plant in the morning.

Uh-oh…float tech tells me only 2 seeds are good (i.e. sink after night of soaking) while 3 (floaters) maybe wont germ. We’ll see what happens with these five…

Some people say it's the opposite/same. It's bro-science to me. The Malibu Pie isn't getting cracked this time; just the SkyWalker OG.

Oh right see I’ve had them do both and seem to both germinate fine (floaters&sinkers) is there like evidence to support either or one of these stoner growing myths haha, also will you be doing a diary of them mate would be good to see?

Not sure how this is gonna go. Two duds, two wont turn, and one has a very tight seed shell that wont pop. I may germinate some other seeds (different diaries) and come back to this at the full moon.

Hi Josh glad you stopped by. I have MS and unfortunately, I'm not a good candidate for surgical procedures -- my hands start shaking like tree leaves in the wind.
