Looked at these however for how big my groom is would need a lot of them, I did really want them as cheaper but I read they would cost same as they have to be on a lot more to keep heat constantDIY.Rik wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 1:15 pmI use a Dimplex and a Elexir Gardening one. The latter is better. They're like a tube heater and splash proof too so useful when you're watering.Stickylemonz wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 1:12 pmNah it’s really not @DIY.Rik it’s a 1500kwh heater for campingso defo not efficient lol but on my next grow will use dimmable hps and rub lights at night so heater not on as much

Yes mate, I’ve been told to run lights at night as that’s when it’s coldest then heater in day if needed,, growing in shed is very hard lol

Re: First indoor grow 6 diffrent strains
Oh wow didn’t see they went that big, at the minute the heater comes on when it drops below 19 and heats up till 24DIY.Rik wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 1:18 pmhttps://elixirgardensupplies.co.uk/prod ... se-garage/
Try this? From 55w to 190Watts so they're quite efficient. Raises my .8M tent by 5-10 degrees. Then I just use anything I can find to insulate the top of my tent.

I suppose that depends on how well insulated it is.Stickylemonz wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 1:21 pmLooked at these however for how big my groom is would need a lot of them, I did really want them as cheaper but I read they would cost same as they have to be on a lot more to keep heat constantDIY.Rik wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 1:15 pmI use a Dimplex and a Elexir Gardening one. Re: First indoor grow 6 diffrent strains
It is mate, I went from growing in a bedroom where temps are stable to a shed where temps are all over due to UK weather. Whole different ball game. Constantly buying new equipment to keep a good environment lol I'm on a 12/12 schedule so have them on from 4pm to 4am then the heater kicks in on and off thanks to my inkbird until midday when outside temp risesStickylemonz wrote:Yes mate, I’ve been told to run lights at night as that’s when it’s coldest then heater in day if needed,, growing in shed is very hard lol

Re: First indoor grow 6 diffrent strains
Ah nice man, looked into these a while back. Only using a 3x3 tent so not massive. What wattage do you use? Just the one? You know if these work with inkbird?DIY.Rik wrote:https://elixirgardensupplies.co.uk/prod ... se-garage/
