Re: Encrypted Garden Run #001
So you say your aiming around 53 - 55rh, well what`s that all about, sort of what does humidity do to benefit plants ? Ok yes i know if its too high it can cause shit like bud rot. But ive grown in low humidity high humidity and correct humidity and i can honestly say i noticed no difference in end results.
Also why are you running with ec 2.3 is it cus your water is hard and crazy high ec to start, so 2.3ec is actually both water and ferts in total ? For sure you need that tap man on buckets man, they look real dark shade of green i presume you`ll be flushing those through weekly running with an ec that high ?
Plants look sound by the way, verry nice.

Re: Encrypted Garden Run #001
Firstly thanks for your questions. I'm not really aiming for any humidity or even temp as I'm following a vpd chart all i'm interested in is a reading of between 1.1 kpa and 1.5kpa. As this should give me the ideal conditions, including leaf temp as have a temp gun for that.2-Scoops wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 9:47 amSo you say your aiming around 53 - 55rh, well what`s that all about, sort of what does humidity do to benefit plants ? https://www.dimluxlighting.com/wp-conte ... jpg?x91483
but it depends on the day as my light at 100% today running at 28.5c/83f but the other day was hitting 30-31c/86-88f so just tried to match up humidity with that as my leaf temp as 82F/28C that day.
I use hard water which comes out at 0.6ec going to double-check that but I'm sure it 0.6ec and just boosted up to 2.3, so really only added 1.7ec of nutrients. Should have put my baseline ec in my notes. Just following athena heavy feeding as sort of want stress test as the only real thing I've ever had is a cal/mag issues, Never had anything else since I started growing. So my thought is let's see how far I can push them sort be nice to of had an issue so I can learn more. Today's feeding was at 2.5ec including bl ec .
I'm always trying to get run off now as went from mills semi organic to athena which isn't but Hotz the one on the right I can get 30% run-off as did 6.6L with her in 2 days, but trizzler feed same the other day 6.6l and hardly any run off about 150-200ml if that. She is huge compared to hotz they both in 15L pot btw. If she if the same today even tho up her water to 4.5l per feeding instead of 3.3l. next feeding I'm going flush her. As I know I'm stacking her ec atm. Hope this man sence.
Thanks man.

Trizzlers ran off was 7.5% from 4.5L I think I may need to find her run off level to get to 15% or min 10%. She is going be huge
Air Control
* 78.3 - 86.4 F(AVG-83.6F) (Lights On)
* 69F (Lights Off)
* 48%-62% (57% AVG) RH%

Re: Encrypted Garden Run #001
Remember they will be starting to taper off feeding and taking up less ferts in a week or two, so build up will occur pretty quick running those EC`s in a few more weeks. Summink to bare in mind mate.
