Re: First attempt at outdoor auto run
Will also be diluting the spray a bit more as well, seems to have been a bit strong for some of the plants.

Re: First attempt at outdoor auto run
I'm using copper tape, Neem oil and slug pellets, seem to be doing the job. Last year I had a couple out with no IPM & they all got hammered, caterpillar's mainly. Bit more preped this year although need to make some cages. Something is enjoying a good burrow.

Re: First attempt at outdoor auto run
Copper tape and neem oil was going to be my go to but I stupidly decided not to order it when I had money last week, but the problem escalated pretty quick so had to come up with something. Going to be adding copper tape and fly traps but going to see how I get on with my homemade spray.Pipjam wrote:I'm using copper tape, Neem oil and slug pellets, seem to be doing the job. Re: First attempt at outdoor auto run
Getting on pretty well I’m in the north next to the sea. The temperature never got much over 22/23c and humidity was between 70/80% so had pretty ideal conditions. Getting a lot of cloud at the moment and there’s been some showers over the past few days. Hoping it’s not too long before the sun comes back! I think the start of July is supposed to be even hotterKeeno wrote:How you been getting on with these in this heatwave HaydenR4238.

Re: First attempt at outdoor auto run
Morning, I've also used water retention Crystal's. They've done a cracking job with the weather last few week. Highly recommended

Re: First attempt at outdoor auto run
Funnily enough I was looking at them the other day! Not actually had to much of a problem with rain, I just keep an eye on the weather forecast and if there’s rain due I hold off on the watering. I did however water well on Thursday as I was top dressing my plants, it’s been pretty wet since then but they’re still doing okay. Won’t need watered for a while now anyway HahaPipjam wrote:Morning, I've also used water retention Crystal's. They've done a cracking job with the weather last few week. Highly recommended

Re: First attempt at outdoor auto run
Day 38 from sprout I believe today. Not been up for a wee while. Some of them really didn’t like my spray as you can see, but apart from that happy enough with the progress they’ve made. Looks like they are about to start flowering. The GSC is top of the class so far, definitely my favourite out the bunch. Think I might have the weather back on my side soon as well it’s been really poor. Still very much alive and well that’s the main thing!
