@2-Scoops here’s the weekly update all going well I thought but.......here’s the stats;

Image Image Image

Now got a few curly leaves on a few of the new fan leaves particularly the ‘Purple Punch’ my PH pen has been messing around a little bit and is taking ages to calibrate and read (better now after a clean and a soak) but still a bit of a bugger to do so I then flush through with feed until it seemed better so maybe I’ve overwatered due to this (total flushed thorough was 1.5 litres per plant)?, my mistake unless you reckon something else?.

No fans are on in the tent and I’ve turned the heating up slightly so this morning was a 5 degree difference between min/max and humidity at 50%.

Let me know what you reckon and don’t beat me!. 😔

Theirs nowt up with them, let`s face it they`re nice n green and are all growing, bingo jobs a good en. So just carry on doing as your doing mate. My thinking is if it was ph out then all lot would have a dodgy look twisty leaved look and lets face they hardly have that look i suppose you could say they have if your being a bit picky, but i`m not. Don`t worry about it man, all that crinkly looking shit from what ive seen when growing my own it usually grows out as they grow mate. All good carry on regardless try not to go flushing pots out for no reason it can play havoc with medium and its buffering properties/capabilities and that can sling ph out even more so.

Then again it be an idea to get ph pen calibrated if you`ve got no calibration fluid maybe try using plain old white vinegar which has a ph value of 2.4-2.5. :oik!:

@2-Scoops nice one ok cheers mate that’s a huge relief and the vinegar tip is a good one 😉.

I have now calibrated with PH7 all seems ok I reckon the end had dried out and was dirty as it hasn’t been used for a while as it’s been in retirement better now though 😆.

I’ll Chuck a quick pic update on Thursday just to show you though if that’s ok 👍🏻.

I only ever use vinegar. The Apple Cider Vinegar neutralises many of the chlorides in the water too.

Sorry @2-Scoops me again.

WEEK 3 VEG.

When do I add the silicone to feed and how much please?. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I’ve just made up a bucket of feed ready with;

20 litres water
20Ml Canna A & B
4.5 Ml PH Down

Giving me 0.8 PH & 6.0 EC

Do I add it now?.

I can see a few roots coming out the bottom of the 4x4 pots so thought I might get my feed ready and let it stabilise before potting the on tomorrow?.

Add the silicone next time you make a feed up. Go with 1/2ml per liter and add it after A&B but before you ph-. The Si will send your ph sky high so ph- will defo be called for. Si may effect EC a wee bit but but don`t worry about that too much so long as they`re getting enough A&B at doses (ec) you giving now just add Si on top and if EC is a bit higher afterwards no sweat.

So you saying you added 4.5ml of ph- to your current 20liter fert mix, man that sure sounds alot. What stuff are using for ph down ? I use the Growth Technology ph- (phosphoric acid) which would use a few drops only if i was to make similar mix up, man it only takes about 4ml to 5ml added to 80 liters in my tank when i make that up and that`s when im using Si which takes ph way above 7 man it sky rockets up with Si. Basically is it phosphoric acid or the other one you can get that`s less aggresive i forgot what it is, it might be citric acid feck knows tbh, but it`s not so strong as phosphoric acid .

Don`t pot up yet give it another week, really its no rush yet, let plant grow a wee bit more and get a good few more roots.

All good stuff though mukka. :oik!:

@2-Scoops I live in a very hard water area kettles here get a right hiding and when I did grows before where I used to live 20 miles away it was the same, my Ph is 7.0 + most times from the tap due to high chalk levels etc.

I use Growth Technology PH down and it’s always been good until you spill some 😥 I see holes in stuff.

Ok thanks again and I’ll wait another week and go from there plus I’ll update a plant pic on Thursday 👍🏻
