Next auto run

Post by Ghost_In_A_Jar »

Hi all,

Starting a grow diary for the next batch of autos that have gone in.

I'd really like a little help and direction on this one to get the most out of it.

Seeds,
Cream of the Crop - Amphetamine
Advanced Seeds - Jack Herer
Barney Farm - Blueberry Cheese

All seeds are now soaking and waiting to germinate. I may replace any that don't do well, or may just leave the extra space in the tent.

Using H&G bat special soil
Plagron guano
Biobizz nutes

Once popped, I have always just put the seeds into 9cm square pots until the roots ae strong enough to hold the soil together for transfer. They usually sit under the Dutch Passion LED (190w) in the 70x70 tent at that point.

The plan is to move them out to the 4x4 and under the ISH 530 Eclipse at the point of transferring pots.

Then I just set the timer to 20/4 and follow a nute schedlue from biobizz.

This will be one of my last auto runs before switching to a coco/photoperiod grow. I understand that not everyone likes biobizz or organic soil grows, or autos lol, but this is what I have to work with :idn: :oik!:

Thanks all.

Drop the "schedule", but sound like a good plan mate

H&G is going to have them plants sorted for a good 6-8 weeks of the cycle. lets just play it by ear for when to start nutrients

Awesome. Thanks bud. It's so tempting to give them some food early on. I'll hold off on this lot and just water when they first go in.

Also try sowing your auto seeds in there final pot. Don’t transplant- they flower with time not a light schedule so any high stress like transplanting will stunt your grow and and hence your yield. I sow my autos in 7gal fabric pots with coco. Once sown in coco put a Tupperware container over it for humidity until the plant has its first two true leaves . Then off she grows!!!

Don’t let anyone deter you from autos . They are fast and if taken close care can yield a nice bit. My last skywalker OG yielded 80g and I def stunted her early on (my ph pen took a crap and I had her all sorts of jacked ). Being indoors and in one tent autos are my go to . I have 3 going at once for a perpetual harvest, every month I drop a new seed 😌

Feck knows tbh but my thinking is treat it as you would any soil and soil + water = can become a soggy mess and less aireated than other mediums like coco and i still add 25% - 30% perlite to coco. Personally myself if i did a soil type grow from what i read and seen i`d always be adding 25 to 30% perlite, but i`m far from knowledgable on jobby here myself.

Also read bat shit can be a little hot for young plants but tis great for taste used in bloom ? Point being it sounds like he has a mix/medium already full of bat shit (h&g guano mix) and he`s also got another sack of plagron guano which i presume is bat shit. I know theirs other types of guano from birds etc but most times when i see it used online for growing tis generally bat shit

Thanks bud, it's just a case of time and available space. If I could start in the final pots, I would :)

I'm not put off autos. I just want to cut the electric down. So taking 8 hours off the lights per day will make a pretty big impact I'd imagine lol
