Re: Tonka's Green Crack in soil under DIY Led

Post by Tonka »

Seven weeks from flip now. We've had a bit of a cold snap thats dropped lights off temps to about 17c. Noticed that they've slowed down a bit now.
Think I'll give them another week then chop. Probably a bit impatient, but too keen to start the next grow
Reckon I'll get some better heating in there for the start of the next run. Got a bar heater in over the last couple of days, it's doing a bit, but not enough. Still a bit warm to get the wood heater going, but come winter, the fire will keep temps stable.
Anyway, I'm bloody happy with my first real indoor grow and can't wait to change things up a bit on the next run.

Thanks for looking in ImageImageImageImageImageImage

So I ended up chopping them yesterday. The back two definitely could have done with a week or two more, but the front one was looking ready to me and the tent is my drying space.
Also, I'm almost out of weed and it seems like nobody in North Tassie has any right now.

Feeling a bit bad about it, but hell, just eyeballing what I have (even wet) it looks like I'll easily have enough to last to next harvest.
Really need to look at doing a lot more defoliation underneath next time. Heaps of little stuff down low that'll be turned into butter. At least I'll have the best ANZAC biscuits this ANZAC Day

Thanks for looking in guys, I'll post a smoke report and final weight once dry.ImageImage

Nice result
I grew Green crack cos I heard it was Snoop Dogg's favourite strain
What's good for Snoop Dogg is good enough for me.
Enjoy the smoke.

Hi guys, really sorry for the lack of an update. Harvested some lovely smoke(got lost in it for a few days ), but then a whole bunch of life came at me at the same time. So I haven't been able to do much in the garden. Mostly sorted now, so I'm looking forward to growing again and getting back on the forum.
Total was 197g, so should be able to improve on that next time. Hell, I'm still smoking it so it's enough.

The back two plants taste really peppery, with a good amount of lemon too.
The front one is pretty similar, but less pepper and a hint of liquorice.
The high is the same for all three plants, nice and clean. Really uplifting(which is just what I was looking for), makes everything feel brighter. Bloody love it!
Very happy to have some jars full of my own at last!
I've added be a photo of the total below. The oil in the photo is made of my trim and all the shittier buds, plus a mates trim.
Popping some seeds today, so I'll start another diary when I see what lives.

Cheers guysImage

Excellent work, can’t believe that was with a home made light, do you have a build thread by any chance?

Drugs and Alcohol are never the answer! Unless the question was “what am I doing tonight”.
