Blackberry Gum On The Horizon

Hi all, been too long since ive kicked off a diary, so here is another new flavour

But the real difference besides the strain is this run is with a soil style coined by one Leighton Morrison of KingdomAquaponics https://www.instagram.com/kingdomaquaponicsllc/?hl=en

The idea is to create within the pot a series of layers otherwise known as horizons. ive kinda jimmied together the horizons from what i had available so have a base layer of hydroton topped with oystershell grit, a mixed peat hydroton, grit and amendments layer then topped with a coco based amended medium close to a coots/Cornell mix

one of the plants got cooked when i had a heating issue about 10 days ago but they got potted in about 4 days ago and will settle in for a week or so before we move into flowering

Its meant to help keep the medium at the right moisture level for longer. the bottom layers hold and wick up water if needed as well as pulling away excess if over watering

I'd imagine you'll have more root growth in different zones at different times depending on the plants needs. Interesting stuff. Real interested on the flavor on this.

Its been a week, so i gave each pot about 5l of a cap of em1 per 10l . ill get pics a lil later on

Moved into the flowering chamber. and leading branches got super cropped

be 12/12 from tomorrow at this point
