they dont look too bad buddy but gotta agree with previous advise that may be worth figuring out a way to check moisture levels. every 2 days seems like alot. im only feeding 35l pots like 5-7l every 7-10 days

Been looking at moisture meters troops but there's so many out there im unsure which one to choose. They range from wee crappy ones which from my experience are terrible and always break or never work when they arrive, to the really expensive ones like the blulab moisture meter. I seen the wee blumat ones was wondering if anyone has any experience with these or could reccomend one they know works really good. I don't mind having to fork out for the blulab one if its the most accurate and won't break on me. Thanks again for any info

Re: Going organic

Morning troops ordered the moisture sensor should be here next week sometime. So haven't fed the girls anything since the 8th and when I felt the pots this morning the top of the pot is dry and bottom is still a little damp. Def no were near as wet as the bottom was before. I was thinking when I should start feeding again, don't want them to dry out completely and can't check the moisture content properly until the sensor comes. Was thinking maybe feeding 1/4 litre of plain water either tonight or tomorrow and starting back on the feeding schedule but again its me just guessing. Not gonna feed anymore than 1/4 - 1/2 a litre from now on. Any advice much appreciated

Ps I tried lifting the pot method but thing weighs a ton lol couldn't even shift it ImageImageImageImage

stick ya finger in the pot, if the dirt sticks to your finger you should be fine, if the dirt falls back into the hole like dry sand, chances are its a lil dry. i would think your cover crop is gonna keep a lot of the moisture contained tbh so really wouldnt be thinking about watering often at all, especially with that much medium. 10-15% pot volume every 5-7 days id be thinking tbh, alteast till the plants are draining the pot more quickly
