In final veg, my goal is to promote root growth and the base size of the plant. Water with RO like it's a small flood then seven days to dry. These plants have a small bend in the main stem at the base of the plant -- flimsy but branches well -- so I staked the main stem with a bamboo pole. I may extend the remaining 18 days of veg by a week - we shall see.

After removing the bamboo stakes, I cleaned the lowers a tiny bit on the JillyBeans around day three of flower. The plant, specifically, has weak stems at the root-base which makes it un-sturdy. I don't like her sparse structure so much. Scrog is very low, tight in the front and sides, and I only have a few remaining areas to tuck. Since this is the first time growing JillyBean, I probably won't touch it for the remainder.

I'm glad you guys were able to catch up to this story. Remembering my friend through this strain is, 100%, my inspiration for joining GR420.

Not good. Not completely bad, but not good either. This JillyBean is weak, and the scrog is an example of LST almost exclusively. You can see how the branches simply splayed outwards. Sadly, I don’t think it’s gonna last in my garden. Just can’t imagine hanging onto it given the way it grows. If it does something positive for my MS, maybe it will stay but I doubt it. Or rather than deal with this plant, I wouldn't mind popping some new beans!

Day 20
Defoliation. Too lazy to do it and wouldn't know where to start.

Day 35
At full power (400W) since about day 25, the JillyBeans are looking ok. I’ll give them some compost tea for the last time – I also used a Roots Organic terp tea after a 20ish hour brew and I didn’t like the smell. I wouldn’t recommend longer than four hours aeration for that brand. If the strain goes for another 35 days, it will receive weekly RO watering only.
