Well..... Lights arrived! Temps were 36c with 1*825w on today and it was cold outside.
Temp reader reset etc but tbh they feel hot.... See how it goes.
Few issues.... One board wago fell off taking it out the bubble wrap.
Boards have various marks as pictured.
Were meant to be dimmable but no inline dimmer... Emailed bloke incase it's the screw on the drivers.
On the plus side..
Damn they are bright!

The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

Well.... Phone rang. Bloke replying from led place. Dimmer is onboard. Marks on boards are from spraying insulation stuff and u do get drips. As for connector... Would I like a brand new assembled one sent out? I said no it's ok. Got it working. He said I could solder or leave as is... Or if it breaks within 3 years he will send a new one anyway! Can't really be any fairer than that :)

Should probably say... These are invisible sun boards. They run quite hot on full whack ( tho ambient temp is quite high ATM and I'm perfecting intake ) bit dialed down slightly they seem to be a lot cooler. I shall continue to monitor :)

Re: Black grouse does nft blue cheese as usual!
I have been doing some reading on the out come of a couple of the new Quantam Boards, Only thing I've seen so far, is that they run coller. One tested 100W manged 1.09 gram per watt, and the other 255W Manged 1.07 gram per watt. So as far as I can see they work as good as HPS, and run cooler, but they cost a bunch. People have been telling me they do 2 grams per watt, but I haven't seen any test grows with that yet, and if I do, I will probably thank they didn't dry the weed first before weighing.Black Grouse wrote: ↑Mon Jul 09, 2018 3:22 pmSome details on the boards I bought. Re: Black grouse does nft blue cheese as usual!
They are expensive. Not sure on full they are cooler but I was having temp issues hence buying them. Also it helps the leccy bill and suspicions...
They are also quite heavy compared to HP's adjust a wing so I need to look into that due to my current frame but tbh it's going to be a learning curve. I genuinely think if I had a 3rd board it would be as good as my 2 1ks at 825w.
