Mixed martial arts promoter Ultimate Fighting Championship and the United States Anti-Doping Agency announced on Thursday that marijuana would no longer be banned for fighters in most cases. About time.
I watched something about the repeated head injuries they get and cannabis can protect their brains from this damage, or certainly reduces risk.

It's crucial to note that the change in USADA policy has no bearing on state athletic commission laws, so players aren't free to use marijuana now that the statement has been made. Novitzky, on the other hand, is optimistic that the UFC policy change would pave the way for similar changes at the state level.
The exclusion of "phyto" cannabinoids commonly present in various CBD products, as well as the addition of Informed Choice as an approved dietary supplement certifier for UFC athletes, are among the other revisions to the UFC's anti-doping policy announced.
