Rainbow 🌈 Candy Growers Choice.

Post by Guest »

Wednesday Nov 11th I put the 6 seeds into the kelp water: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=8924

All 6 sank the the bottom which is always a good sign. I did decide= to give them 48 hours this time but they were all healthy and starting to sprout when I took them out. They all went straight into 6 riot cubes I had from earlier this year when I started my last grows (I really wish I had more space to grow more perpetually). One grew out and sat her feet out the bottom of the root cube by the next day, which is what usually happens. The others didn't look as ready so I left them for a bit longer.

By now the soil I had been building had started to build some mycelium by the looks of things and I also discovered not one but two types of fungi visible to the nakede eye. What does anyone else think? ....and @GHO

I have seen the little white mushrooms before, in my soil back in the summer and that was a good grow, very quick. Last 3 pics above are close ups, the best I could find with the scope cam.

I'm reallhy happy with how my soil has come out. Which reminds me I need to maintain a little I have left, for when I repot, always need to look ahead and plan. Which brings me onto another order from GHO soon

In goes the strongest seedling. This one looks to be a nice strong one. If this one grows out quick I may just get a massive pot for my .8M tent and SCROG it out (I may need a mentor or some help with the SCROG training)

Last night I checked my remaining seedlings, it seems to me that the old cubes had become too stale and picked up bad microbes or something? As 2 had died off and not really grown out at all. I have planted the remaining survivors straight into the soil to see if the magic in there does it's work and they grow out.

The remaining pots will be filled with one or two autos I reckon. Or I have some White Widow seeds free from one of the seed companies, which are photos. Makes sense I use up 2 autos and let them grow out to keep my jars topped up. They will then stay in the .6M while I can carry on vegging the Rainbow Candy Photo in my .8M which currently still has a little banana blaze drying, which brings me onto; I know it looks cramped in there :ak:  I'm just trying my best to get as many started until I have space.

I also have an idea for a third grow in the small tent I won. But that is going to be something a little different. I've caught the growing bug! Haha, they're growing to pop up everywhere I can squeeze them in    :oik!: Not even the Mrs can stop me :fight:

:bye:

Nice one @Greenfingers I'm well happy with what the soil looks like and how its reacting to watering in.

Bring on some more grows. I think I may need to order another light and some more extraction soon for my 3rd tent

Well I was hoping i had one strong one then. There is always a quick one or two out of the bunch. Sometimes the odd one catches up though. I'm going to look what autos I have later and replace them.

Replaced 2 deceased members of my family jungle with a sweet cheese and a critical kush, both autos. .8M is now free so I'm going to see what else survives. To be honest it doesnt look that promising. I reckon I may be going for one big massive pot in my .8 with the one Rainbow Candy, she looks a strong one so I'm happy enough with that, then then if I can get my 2 autos going I can fill my .6 out and more jars. We're just waiting to move right now, something keeps getting stalled so it's all getting a little stressful. When (not "if" as corrected my the Mrs, pessamistic..... errrrm) I can get in my new double garage (space is liomited) I can have more wiggle room for a third gtrow tent.

I will start a seperate diary for which Auto's survive etc....

I could have done with having the room to pop these seeds weeks ago :fight: just not much room on the window sill these days :ak: Need my new big grow space

Little update, she has started reaching out her 1st serrated leaves already. Looks like a healthy young plant so far.

This one not looking so good. Let's see what life comes from the remaining seeds then start making decisions on pot size etc........

Looking forward to some of these colourful genetics.

Happy Growing everyone.

Getting bigger by the day. Keeping to my schedule topping ther microbiome and added bits and bobs. Aloe Concentrate yesterday, plain water today and back to fulvic acid tomorrow if I remember right.

This is what she looks like today, my one and only, remaining rainbow candy:

Image

I did soak one sweet cheese seed and a critical kush. But the kush hasn't done anything yet, so I popped the last Euforia Auto I had, as the harvest on that recently, the produce was incredible. I'll post a review later, I'm just curing a little. Let's hope this rainbow candy produces some good bud.

The Sweet Cheese has started peeking its head out looking for light now so that looks a winner. When I have another succesful seed germ I will start a seperate Auto diary.

So, I will veg that little seedling out and order a huge pot for my .8M tent. What size should I go for in GHO organics? Mmmm.
