Re: Multi strain coco grow with new led light.

Post by Redz Medz »

Well a little delayed update to the diary and they have slowed right down, as someone pointed out my temps were too low, ive now increased that and potted them up to final 11l pots.
They are being fed 1/4 strength nutes as to what is advised. I found out anymore and nute burn strikes.
You can prob just see in the pics.
I am feeding calmag at 1/2 strength at the minute but will increase again next feed.
As you can see now they are stunted little buggers for a month old so all help appreciated as usual. Thanks

Hi growers about time I updated the diary really. been a bit of change here and there! lol
So the final strains in the tent are Choc mint OG, Maple sherbert, Candy dawg and 2 phenos of Sticky fingers.
The Maple sherbert and 1 pheno of sticky fingers were from seed and the rest were clones i took awhile back.
Ive tried to time it so all plants are being fed the same, the two from seed are slightly smaller but they are all on the feed atm which is half strength on the buddhas tree nutes. full strength with rhiz, calmag and orca.
A+b - 2ml per litre
Solar green power - 0.25ml
Rhiz - 2ml
Calmag - 1ml
Orca - 0.5ml per gallon
PH - around 5.8
EC - 1.200

Heres some pics of the grow.

The wetness is that fusion c02 spray ive just started using, will see if does anything.

Also bought a new dehumidifier with humidistat. Seems to be working well.

Upgraded to this bad boy res from the little green thb aswell. Thats now the filling bucket 🤣

Im going to keep the feed the same now untill a week before flip where I'll add some flower burst to the mix start to liven stuff up. Also got a new tent on the way from the gr420 store, for anyone thinking im running out of room 🤣
@Bulls or anyone really, i need to flush before flip, now can i do a slow leech rather than 22litres all at once? 😱😱
As in plain water feed for this week normal feed maybe a litre more, to help flush?

Thanks for looking and any advice. :Stoned:

The plants look great why you flushing before flip? Looks like they're nice and loaded up, ready for the stretch

If I remember correctly a few guys on here do a mid-flower flush, I'm gonna give it a shot this next run

Hi@Josh thanks deffo looking a lot better now.
Ive just found these buddhas tree nutes are so strong in coco, i can just start to see a bit of nute burn again on some so was gonna flush them out ready for the flip then once again during flower.
Didn't really want to put 22l through each pot but i guess if i do it over a week, im losing feeding time.

Latest update, still waiting for a green cube tent to arrive as the ladies are a bit crammed in.
They have all been lollipopped now as well as being flushed through ready to start pre flower feed.
One thing i relised is that my nute mix lh has been creeping back up after ive ph'd it.
So now im going to check everytime i feed, ive a suspicion thats the root of all my little issues.

Ive also added ecothrives neutralise to my arsenal to dechlorinate my tap water. Which i believe will help with the orca as i was told chlorine kills most of the mychorrizae.
Here they are just after lollipopping, thanks for lookin.

Forgot to say ive currently been feeding my plants 3l every other day in 11l pots. Thats working out fine i reckon as the roots are not dry but the top layer of coco is.

Here they are after stripping some leaves last night.
Never really defoliated like this before so all a bit experimental for me.
