Yea, it works well mate. I even put a tap on it in case I need to empty the bottle mid drain ;o)

Staying with the AutoPots for this grow but they are getting a decent upgrade from the supplied 6mm piping to running 16mm pipe from the Res with an inline 16mm filter which will be then split down to upgraded 9mm pipe via 16-9mm filters doing the down size of pipe which will be to very short spans of 9mm into the upgraded Aqua Valve 5. Hopefully this will allow better flushing of the pipes while keeping the 9mm bottle necks very short and easily replaceable.

Upgrade is actually coming out more expensive than the original AutoPots - but fuck it, they have paid for themselves in the amount of bud produced from the WaterMelon grow and the lack of hassle kinda makes it worth it to me. The problem with a failure once the plants are in the final stages of flowering etc, is that my tent is not really accessible so I would rather spend a little money to hopefully resolve the salt build up issue long enough to finish the grow.

Yes mate, they are being 'Main-Lined' and so far are at stage one (so cut in half from six nodes down to 3) just waiting on a couple more nodes before starting stage two.

THought I would give it a go as my problem with the GRoom is pretty much once they are in, they become inaccessible so I am hoping something like mainlining will allow me to do all the training etc before they go into flower. They are deliberately low to allow me to use the pots for training during stage 3.

The main lining is very similar to manifolding (topping) just a little more structured. Like I say mate, just giving it a go.
