Yes they`re starting to fly good style now Treetrunk. With a bit of luck i should be in for some of those "rocket ship on my way to Mars" sized buds lol. Cheers man

Ritho guys so these have been on 12/12 around 17days now, i netted and lollipopped some crap away from the lower regions a few days or so back. So they are getting fed a rfegular mix of AnB, silicon and fulvic acid to an ec of 1.2 as well as a blast or liquid seaweed and some h202 added into the mix weekly and they ,looking pretty snazzy on it too. Anyhow theirs not much been happening but i took plenty of pictures over a few or more days since they`ve started to flower up. Enjoy and cheers guys.

sorry if you said already, ut what lights you running this time Jimmy.
it looks like an HPS in there, presumably for heat, but are you rocking the LED too or whats the crack?
plants looking spot on, as always.
Another question for ya. see that run to waste buckets, it s that the same ones you used when you had the big room grow on , aye?

Yes ive high hopes for this one Treetrunk ive done it once under led but im more a hps fan when it comes to growing bigger buds. Cheers mukka.

Yes its a lovely smoke is this one too iff your wanting away from those fruity little numbers this is it and it mashes you up a really long lasting type high from a good vape session. Cheers man

Yes its a more horses for courses mate so im wanting bigger buds up top that from my little experience with LED just don`t happen, in those final weeks they just dont seem to have that push a 400 or 600hps has. But ive just switched out the 400 mh for a 400 red spectrum hid and i`ll be changing that out for dual spec hps later in bloom, but alongside that i have added the 100watter full spectrum led i won on here (much kudos for that) idea behind it all is i`ll still get full sun spectrum of colours and still have that umph and hps gives to fatten up buds, not only that it saves running the oil filled rad 24/7, i shall be swapping out the hid/hps light come Spring/Summer for the 350 samsung quantum i bought again, hence the horses for courses. But yes from what ive read somewhere on net led grows a wee bit more potent bud, not that it matters too much to myself cus the hps grown bud smashes up my blood clot anyhow, but im all for stronger buddage

Yes and no, same system smaller pots, the bigger 5 gallon pots with tap on are in my loft which is a better option imo using the plastic beer barrel type taps, you`ve got on/off for starters if waste buckets are getting too full . Tbh though Billy in like, well....... it`s gotta be close to 15 years of growing in coco now and it`s the only system ive used and ive only used 2 lots of growing pots, the 25ltr and 12 ltr bucket type ones. Which says it all really.

Thinking on now are you on about the bigger room i grew in a few years back ? Iff so then yes these are from that set up i ravaged down to 2 pots. I`m a tight coont Billy as you know. Cheers bud

My mate keeps banging on about how great they are for bloom, reckons they are much better than dual spec, but ive not tried one. (because im as tight/ tighter coont than you lol). but if they do work, i might splash out.
Can i ask what the reasoning is for changing back to dual spec HPS at end of grow?.

I`m no sciencey type but more red = fatter denser buds and blue is for vegging and also to help ripening up buds towards the end, i suppose im trying to mimic summer and onset of winter in a way, as you know two main basic colours for growing and maxing out on buddage, so yes for first 3 to 4 weeks of actual flowering when they`ve got buddage lets say to around week 6 ot 7 of 12/12 then its red all the way and i go dual spec later in bloom cus the little blue in it is said helps mature plants up and help with resin production. I mean im no light expert Billy but tis just bits n bobs i pick up trawling net. That said i am kinda lazy and quite alot i just slam in the dual spec when swapping out mh bulb. Tbh im unsure what`s in now but pretty sure i swapped out for red spec last week from the mh, then again who knows what with my head its a real shed man.

Pretty sure when you see 96000.00 lumens for a 600hid light its for red spectrum and and not the dual spectrum and that`s if lumens means owt cus it`s said not to plants apparently nowadays, but don`t quote that paragraph.

I can`t say ive really noticed a difference between dual and red spec growing but again i dont really take that much notice mate.
