Run them for ten weeks Minty iff you can, but yes do as your saying and bung them on water only for 2 weeks. I`m not sure why anyone would wanna flush plasnts through with anything but water at end, why add more chemicals to flush out chemicals, hmmm it just doesn`t sound right to me.

Love the spread sheet MintyMinty wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 7:53 pm@2-Scoops They are starting week 7 today and my plan is currently to give them another week of reduced feed (down to 0.9 EC at the min) then move them onto a flush for a week or two depending on how the look:-

P.S. The '& dehumid' is just me dumping the emergency overflow from the dehumidifier into the Res rather than have to deal with it - pretty sure water from a dehumidifier is harmless?
Stats at the moment:-

Re: Minty - AutoPot Grow - Assisted by 2-Scoops
Hey mate, how would that work?
Do I still start flushing at week 8 and if they go 10 weeks they would end up with a 3 week flush? Or do I feed for an extra week and start flushing week 9 and if they don't go to 10 weeks they end up with just a weeks flush?
I'm a stoner mate, without it I wouldn't have a clue what I am supposed to be doing ;o)
Thank you mate, The AutoPots have been pretty good so far with the only issue being with the original root control discs. Replacing those with the newer root control socks has sorted that issue. If I had to moan about anything else it would be the boring grow ;o) They literally take 5 mins every two days just to top up the res and this is only because I only fill it about a 3rd as paranoid it might flood the tent. I say this is a downside but guess it's a plus really if your after a real lazy grow.

Re: Minty - AutoPot Grow - Assisted by 2-Scoops
We`ll look at bud pictures from top, middle and bottom of plant a few days before start of week 8 and if they need just water for 2 more weeks then go for it and chop at end of week 9, but if not just give them another week before putting them on water only. But most 50/50 hybrids are generally bang on after 9,10 and 11 weeks, remember they pack up to a 1/3rd of their weight on in those final weeks. :)

Sounds good mate. They are currently in week 7 and will be starting week 8 in 3 days so on Friday I will take top, middle, bottom pictures of each plant and you can see what you think.2-Scoops wrote: ↑Tue Oct 13, 2020 12:53 pmWe`ll look at bud pictures from top, middle and bottom of plant a few days before start of week 8 and if they need just water for 2 more weeks then go for it and chop at end of week 9, but if not just give them another week before putting them on water only.
Assuming that is weeks of flowering, this is what I have been trying with the Tropical Cookies Auto's I have in the pint cans. They are two weeks over the recommended age and are still growing buds during the flushing period. Biggest issue is I have no experience of over cooking them but they look ok to me so I am just gonna continue what I am doing...
I think my mate @Jet-Set-Willy chopped his Auto's down way too early so trying to test mine to the max so I can show him the difference ;o)

Re: Minty - AutoPot Grow - Assisted by 2-Scoops
Hi minty, I used autopots for about 4 years and same as hand watering I would always switch to plain pH water for last few weeks. If u got some with week difference then I'd judge it on plants finishing last so other plants would get atleast a weeks flush, if this makes sense lol. Loved the autopots because I was away and only needed to fill feed tank on weekends, I was using 100L water butt's as reservoir, I had same issue with control disks so also got the socks off fleabay, only other problem was I sometimes lost a plant at back of tent, even tho I kept feed lines clean. Anyway very impressive grow mate

Re: Minty - AutoPot Grow - Assisted by 2-Scoops
Thank you buddy, I really appreciate you dropping in to give me some advice. To clarify you mean cook the advanced one down to a 'potentially' one week flush so that I can continue to feed the one that is behind?ValleyDragon wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 11:49 amHi minty, I used autopots for about 4 years and same as hand watering I would always switch to plain pH water for last few weeks. While I love them, I kinda 'don't like them' due to the lack of involvement but I have Auto's on the go as well as seedlings so I can live with that, especially as the main tent is in the loft. I think they work great and are a real lazy grow and I would certainly recommend them to someone wanting a real lazy grow etc. I just think they are a bit boring for me at the moment as I want something more hands on...ValleyDragon wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 11:49 amLoved the autopots because I was away and only needed to fill feed tank on weekends, I was using 100L water butt's as reservoir, I had same issue with control disks so also got the socks off fleabay, only other problem was I sometimes lost a plant at back of tent, even tho I kept feed lines clean. You say 'Loved' mate so I assume you are trying something different at the moment? Can I ask what?
OK mate, I will take some pictures tomorrow of buds on both plants from the tops, and bottom etc. and plan from those. Tomorrow is the start of week 8 since flip.
Thanks both, as always I really appreciate the help and advice and looking forwards to finally smoking this Water Melon Wedding Cake. Caramel and Cream with extra Frost for the WIN ;o)
