The pipework for the water was extremely noisy. It sort of had a loud squeek as it was running. It seemed as though the holes for the water to come out were perhaps not big enough. Possibly with a bit of work it could be improved
From my experience and very limited mate, but noise is usually generated from vibration (air pump or water pump) so start with them, Seen someone float a water pump in a Res using air filled bottles strapped to the pump to keep it just below the water level! Fecking Awesome Idea, but one I was too lazy to try out in my last hydro attempt but certainly something I would plan for my next.
Another tip is with the Air pumps and lines, wrap an elastic band around the 'contact' points to dampend the 'vibration' etc.
Once you realise that most noise (at least electrical/mechanical) is caused by VIBRATION you can certainly quieten that shit down.
I am certainly gonna wish you all the best and watch and learn from what you do mate. Looking forwards to this grow for sure. Would love to try NFT at some point.
Good luck mate.
P.S. Don't take my advice on anything before checking with the
