your plants dont look crap in them, i just hate using it. if you were doing these in hydro, they would be twice the size for a kick off
Lot quicker from off in soil and from what i have seen in hydro than coco seems to be.
Nah, KB its probably just Nook, hes probably only watered them, like twice or something haha.

I got the first pipes finished today for new system, i intentionally kept them slightly short, to make room for big oscillating fan/heater and all the other crap that has to go in there. i row down, 2 to go, im high as fuk off the fumes maaaaan...., thats why i put the last connection on the wrong friggin way doh!Image

yeah they are great, i discovered them a while ago, when i was being dragged round Ikea by woman. i was in there for about 6 hours, honest to god, just as well they didnt have balconies, id have jumped....

anyway, changed out the buckets this morning, knees fuct now, but needs must. i deliberately let the water level run down, to have less to pump out, ........clever Billy.

they loook a bit shit, but the temps and RH are on point. i think its maybe a bit cold, below the canopy, possibly. they will be fine.

the cuts are doing ok, the seeds i planted a couple of days ago, well 2 are out of the coco, the rest are hiding still.

the autos need some cal mag, so i better buy some.
ec is 1.2 ish, (bloom and a smidge of silicone) ph varies from 5.5-5.8.

im off to pick up some lights, was meant to be leaving about an hour ago.....another coffee, ....oh go on then......

i moved the widow to front right, see if the new lights are making a difference.
im gonna run out of headroom for the lights soon, tents eh?

ok, so a bit more room progress,
i picked these bad boys up from a storage unit today, 3 of them, they have been gathering dust since the last time i used them, in an attempt to reduce temps in big room, they dropped temps by 2 degrees.Image

wowee eh? why bother...i hear you ask.

well the simple is answer is "beacuase they save me buying new reflectors", so they will be used.
i sweated putting up supporting timbers for them to be attached to.......i dont do sweating.......... break time, will get the light hangers in this afternoon.
i use eye hooks, which are a royal pain getting them in, but they are secure. and chains for the lights, i dont like those stupid yoyo hanger things, they are crap. chains and carabiners dont come off, like ever.....

oh aye, bertie bonus, i found some 12 inch duct and a brand new 8 inch fan id forgotten i even had....hahaha

i think its because it was cold in there, and the nutrient isnt exactly at optimal temp, the front left one is a bit like that, yeah, the others, well i increased airflow through the tent to remedy some other issues an now this....sometimes you just cant win,
but it is what it is, so im just gonna crack on with them. water temps from the tap are about 9 degees, doesnt help eh?

more progress, light hangers up, but of course there has to be a fuckup along the way.
i bought cheap chain and its too narrow to fit the bloody carabiners isnt it, so...another tenner of my invisible money will have to be shelled.
Image
Still - it gave me a semi lob on, when i saw it with the lights hanging , but i havnt done any more pipework.
The pump ive got can realistically do 4/5 pots on a recirc dwc, or 9 on a aero dwc. .
the contactor ive got, i dont want to max out with 4 lights, so i was gonna use 3 hps, and do the LED off a normal plug.

i dont want to go building loads of pipework if i end up not using it...arghhhhhhhhh

hmm still undecided, its all numbers, and i can still remember the look the judge game me the last time--it was most diss approving.. hmmmmmmm.

I’ll play the role of Duke in this situation and vote for the lower plant count.
