After losing a couple batches of clones,
(which left me without smoke and my patience for 2 months ) I decided to suck it up, stop feeling sry for myself and get on with another diary

So after 24 hours in a paper towel and on a heating mat, all 5 have popped and look healthy
They will be going into roughly 2.5-3 gallons(US) of amended soil with 20 grams of dynomyco under the seeds. I went with coot's mix again, but I didn't add the 4 cups of basalt like usual. Would have had to wait a week so said fuck it and mixed anyways
Went with lava rock instead of perlite too

Since I have a spare bedroom that I only use for clones, I decided to go ahead and grow autoflowers in there without using a tent. I'm going to cover the window really good but not too worried about light leaks obviously
I'm thinking this will be my permanent veg / Autoflower / clone room

Light being used will be the massive double ended reflector, only 600 watts though. Couldn't handle the heat of 1000 watts if I wanted to

Here's a link to the bulb I'll be using, found a guy on ebay selling 4 for 80$ and I couldn't pass it up. It will be interesting to run metal halide over hps

We'll call it day 1! All settled in the new veg room under a single ended 600 watt metal halide my double ended bulb should be in soon, then I'll be switching to that

One broke ground but not enough strength to carry on, so I'll be using that soil for a super lemon haze

So unfortunately 2 seedlings fell victim to damping off last night went from perfectly healthy to wet noodles

The soil mix I have isn't the greatest for seedlings, there's a fine layer of mycelium growing under the surface and it seems like the new tap roots hate it... Oh well, guess you can say we've purged the weak ones!!

An excuse to pop my jack herer beans hopefully no more death, see you soon

Someone was going on about Jack Herer last night. Think ill have to have a go at some point. Dudnt like it as as a smoke when I was buying weed not groeing my own. But we all know 90% of the names from street weed are made up anyway. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the herer @Josh .
