I just thought, I have a load of old pots ready to be washed and sterilised for another grow. I thought for the price, I may as well chop them up and use them as a mat to keep my moisture in.
I can even water over the top!
All I need is a cheap option to raise all my pots off the ground.

"Insects and disease are the symptoms of a failing crop, not the cause of it. It's not the overpowering invader we must fear but the weakened condition of the victim."
For risers, slices of plastic drain pipes worked for me. Depending on pot and pipe size, had arrange a few together at times. I have rings from 1" thick up to 7" for SIPs. I drilled holes in the sides of the rings so a bit of air would get under the bag.
I think @Marcus just stuck lengths of pipe under his, but I can make things up rather handily!
Finally ditched the fabric pots for hard airpots and knockoffs. The bags were just a pain to add stakes, and the bottoms just wouldn't sit flat, at least for me! Airpots, you can raise the bottoms and zip tie stakes to the outside, and the pimples keep them sort of upright!
I don't use "mulch" anymore, but when I did, Tyvek scraps from jobs did the trick.
I also used to wash fabric pots in the clothes washer. Worked great as long as I did it while Mrs. H was out

Ooooooh now there's an idea, I have some spare 50mm from my last DIY project in the shower room. Plus the extra holes in the side are perfect, thanks
Haha yes I have considered putting them in the washer. I have started to buy new though as they become less hydrophobic as they get used more. I need to invest in some nicer pots next time I think. Watering is a little of a pain. Not so bad a little leakage when you need to raise the humidity, but not if its already too high.
