2 Banana Blaze 🍌 DutchP (coco organic)

Been busy getting used to this training. In both my tents. If you've read my Auto Euforia thread you'll see I've been training there too and I've also mentioned ive started finding my own way, my own style of growing and its working so far, lets hope I can get a nice end product to prove it. As they say, there's more than one way to skin a cat and once upon a tim LST, FIMming, Topping were all unknown and every method was invented or discovered by someone. Maybe my one method has already been thought of in the gardening world? Any bud sites unless in the way of training and tying I will only take off bits I think will bud out, any leaves at all i will try and save, I will also leave main fan leaves under my SCROG. This in theory, will feed my plant with more food. The main fan leaves especially, photosynthesise and help feed the plant, so I want to keep those. If any light can get through, give it a chance, if it risks too much humidity or overcrowding I may consider.

Also I have discovered a hate for topping. I always seem to get it done wrong at the wrong time. Scrog I see most people say topping is good to let side branches produce more. But since we can train up and around the netting and tie them down I'll just let it veg out until its full enough to flip, bei g an afghan its small and bushy anyway. On this note while I remember, smelling my gloves after reminded me of banana 🍌 and custard or a banana pie 🥧 of sorts. Mmmm.

So, I like to go against the grain, try something different, thats how they invented the light bulb 💡 mmm that old debate! AC DC debate anyone? Oh well maybe just me a geek!? Only thing I'm really concerned of is this strain can stretch apparently. My netting can move uo and down I've assured that. Oh well, well live and learn.

Hopefully soon I'll get this net filled a little more and then I'll flip. I tend to do a half hour per day or even less, as I think this stresses the plant less and also maybe reduces shock and stretch maybe.

Either way my 1st SCROG attempt. Let the flowering soon commence.

Looking awesome man. i would suggest raising the moisture meter a little to where the middle of the root ball is. when the base is dry enough the root ball will probably be suffering which is probably why you got that funky fan leaf that looks a little wilty man

besides that imma shut up and take notes :D

GMO, I was just looking at my pots this AM and I thought, the bottom is still moist and the top is now dry, I really need to start looking into a MULCH. Mmmmmmm 🧐🤓

Any idea? 💡

I don't want to use straw or anything, I did hear of some sort of mat you can use or something but it's not clear enough in my mind 🤔

Could use some fake grass 🤔 You wouldn't need to lift that up, as long as the plastic was food safe.

Bit of an update, was going to leave it until a weeks time but I wanted some pics up anyway :-)

It's nice to have something to see their progression.

I really either didn't have enough plants or I dodn't train the, in time, it's going to take too long to veg out I think as I need some crop rotation.

!st time around, all I'm worried about is getting some nice quality buds in the jar.

Next run I will be taking a bit of advice and tweeking things. It's good to just try and learn.

Happy growing, smoking, vaping and whatever it is you do :thanks: for coming
