It`s just not happening, ive been in touch with ganji gods, you`ll proper smash it in that space mukka
There has to be a downside? Salt build up, I dunno, just something that is gonna bite me in the arse?
Been following the simple instructions which is pretty much to drain out (to waste) some feed from the pipes every week - so I just have a tap connector on the end of the run and drain it down the previous hydro 'overflow' pipes. Takes like 10 seconds...
Also using Canna D Block (quite expensive at £27.95 per litre) but only needs like @ .1ml per litre (1ml per top up 10 litre top up)

Impresive looking plants man really you`ll do alright, tis why system is a pure hydro system imho and not for dirt growers, but shops wont tell you that they`ll sell it a mud lover
Ahh, that explains the haters mate. I would totally agree with you in in that this has kinda been designed for Hydro as the Aqua Valve Float 'drain/dry' time is quite short (by design) so you need something that is not gonna hold on to too much water etc. I don't think it would work so well without all the Clay Pebbles etc (although I do probably have a little too many in the bottom on that lighter coloured plant - we shall see when they finally come out) - The one I did previously remove had the double layer (
well triple layer including the one under the pots) of the root control membrane (I know, 1 is more than enough, but I like to experiment mate) - which means the one that is mostly rocking it is the 'recommended setup'.
Both are rocking the Air Domes now as the one I removed left a spare Air tube that I kinda needed to plug in somewhere so the plant which had previously not been using Air Domes (as requested by
@Bulls) has since flip also been getting some Air Dome usage. To be honest even if they don't help I can't see any harm in pumping in Air if I am already running a pump for the Res.
Kudos Guys.
