Greetings and salutations fellow growers,

So week 5 is just coming to an end, so far so good. None of the ladies appear to be stressed out, which is always a concern when running 4 different set of genetics in the same tent. My EC is currently at 1.5 and and PH 5.8. Other than the A&B I've added a light potassium booster from Ozi Magic (Ozi tonic) added a quarter strength. Which I'll keep going for another couple of weeks. So far so good, they are starting stink when you open the tent which is always exciting. The quantum needs another light defoliation which ill do this weekend.

Greetings All!

So I'm back with the latest photos, as week 6 rolls to an end. At the beginning of the week I adjusted the EC to 1.2. I'm currently still running A& B (by H&G), Ozi tonic (by Ozi magic) at a quarter strength. I'm still adding my once a week microbe teas with alfalfa and a few other things. Things seem to be ticking along nicely. The Black TK and Angie are started to yellow up nicely in the leaves, they are about 10 days further along from the other 2 at the back. The Black TK is just dumping resin right now...a trait from the G13 HP that I love. Her smell is...intense to say the least. The fume is so strong of gas and funk that it burns your nostrils. Angie is looking sumptuous and filling out beautifully.

The Quantum has really bounced back nicely, I gave her a leaf trim and now she's looking like a gorse bush of buds haha. The quantum is a really cool strain, once she gets going, her growth cranks, shes sativa dominant, but finishes in 56 days. The moontang is looking like a chem family strain...she smells like tropical raro and fuel . I have had to prop up some of her buds, so she can get nice and heavy.

Greetings everyone,

Back with an update and some photos, currently we are at the end of week 7 for the Black TK and Angie. Quantum and Moontang are at about week 6. I have been carrying on with the same feed schedule as last week. The EC is 1.2 and feeding A&B by H&G and Ozi Tonic (quarter strength). No teas this week, decided to give them a break. Everything has been smooth sailing, the ladies have been feeding to their hearts content at the autopot buffet table. I hear people say LED's can shorten flower time...IMO I have found it to be true. The Black TK appears very advanced for her age. I have seen this with several different kinds of genetics now. Anyway...just an observation.



The Black TK is starting to get really beautiful autumn colours ranging from yellows, pink to deep almost black purple. She smells amazing and the flowers are starting to chunk up and get fat. She's not the biggest producer...but quality is above quantity for this grow. As per her namesake, she is starting to get this dark almost black appearance.








Angie is starting to fade become more yellow in her leaves, as her flowers stack. There has been a noticeable increase in the appearance of her trichs. She becoming a buxom beauty. Shes a little further away from the light (one of the downsides of mutlti genetic grows), but not suffering too bad.


Mootang ...smells so delicious, its intoxicating just huffing her flowers...haha call me a flower junkie. The resin is super sticky and gooey. She's stuffed in the back, so its hard to get to her. I'd like to give her a bit of a defol, but I only have access from the from and right side of the tent. Shes about a week to 10 days behind the Black TK, so once she is harvest I'll get in and remove some of her foliage.




The quantum, as I mentioned last week, is just cranking along. Her growth weeks 5-8 always catches me off guard. Her buds are looking like a bunch of bearded strawberries covered sugar. The smell is super sweet, confectionary like, with a menthol vicks undertone to it.

Hi everyone,

So week 8 is just coming to a close now. At the beginning of the week I filled my quarter full reservoir with water Ph'd to 5.8. The EC dropped to 0.4. So from now until harvest the ladies in the room will be on straight water. Both the Black TK and Angie are 56days old now, i will most likely harvest both at the end of next week, but I wil check the trichs before making any final decisions. The Angie may go a few days longer than the TK. Quantum and Moontang are both looking good and putting on weight, they are both about 48days old at this stage.

So far so good, this grow has been relatively low stress and free from drama. We are just starting spring down here in NZ, so the temps are too cold or too hot. Humidity is high...put it almost always is in my part of the island.

Hi everyone,

As the end of week comes to a close, I thought I'd take the opportunity to post some more nug shot's. By this time of the flower cycle, all the ladies are reaching full maturity. This is when they are looking the best and you get to see their full potential. I am always stuck my the variety of cannabis flowers and how they can differ, so much from one another. They currently being fed nothing but water (EC 0.4) and I fed another organic microbe tea about 4 days earlier. I'm a believer that the teas provide microbes that improve the health of the plant, which in turns, means the flower has the potential to generate the greatest resin and terpene content.

The Black TK is staring to look very ripe and is getting the blue smurf glow colours coming on, due the resin glands.
