Day 62

She's really starting to strut her stuff now. Loads of bud production.

My fan is arriving on Wednesday which I'm eagerly awaiting. Will be good to get that going.

Was doing a bit of reading through people's wedding cake grow journals and they seem to commonly be done after about 12/13 weeks so I'd say Im about 3 weeks out.

I did up my feed a little bit the other day as noticed what I think was a calcium deficiency on 1 of my leafs. I gave it 2ml cal mag, 5ml A and 5ml B that day to 2L water and dropped the calmag again the day after. I've since then dropped back down to 4ml/2L. I think I'm going to stick to that now for another 2 weeks or so and go for about a 10 day flush.

Is it worth doing 48h of darkness before harvest? Considering trying that and possibly the ice cube method but im undecided at the moment.

Will add pictures some time this week. Maybe try source a better camera. Looking and smelling great though. Roll on the next few weeks!

Day 69

She's starting to really fatten up now. Buds are super sticky aswell. Actually quite impressed with the coverage my viperspectra 300w LED is covering.

Lights about 35cm from top of the canopy as I can't get it any higher than that. Was worried about enough light reaching the outskirts of the tent but seems to be doing just fine at that height. Granted the lower and wider branches are smaller.

Have Upped my feed to 5ml/2L and Im gonna run with that for the next couple of weeks and start flushing. Humidity has improved. Not ideal but not as bad. Hopefully I can see out these last few weeks. Feels like I've been growing her for a year! Really wish I had a better camera.

Day 74

Getting close now!

Been keeping an eye on the trichomes. Starting to get quite cloudy, not decided how much amber I would like to achieve before I cut it down. I do like the couchlock feeling probably more than the head high, with that being said though I'd like to be able to smoke during the day and get stuff done. So I'm thinking maybe 20-25% amber.


I told myself I wasn't going to but decided to cut a bottom branch off that wasnt getting a great deal of light, put it in the oven at about 50c with the door open and smoked it. Smoked about 4 single skinners and a bong throughout the day nd I was actually pleasantly stoned surprisingly. Really good sign all things considered! Can safely say it's going to be a great smoke when it's done.

Think I'm going to start flushing next Friday. Feeling like I might just hit my goal of 3oz! Buds feel super dense and sticky. Expecting big things from her! Delighted
