Help with the new grow with help from 2-scoops (Amnesia Lemon)

I have used two different types of Calmag with mine but start off with RO water so dosing may be different. The CannaCalMag is probably the easiest to use as I start with the plain RO water and keep adding it until the EC hits 0.4

GH Calmag I dosed at 1ml per litre (but I use that one in Hydro setups so not sure if that matters)

@Daikatana, which CalMag do you have? Are you using Tap water or RO water and do you own an EC pen/probe?

Sounds good to me does that. What it is he`s growing in coco but he doesn`t have coco specific ferts which shouldn`t be a problem so long as he adds some calmag starting in maybe a couple of weeks time when plants can take a bit more ferts and what not, but atmo his AnB hydro ferts will suffice till they are a little bigger with more rootage to take an higher EC, but jobs a good en, thanks for info i can work with that no problemo. Had to edit my post mate as had the 2nd measurement wrong. SHould be .65ml NOT 1ml

I would say best to find out which specific CalMag he is using first and if it is being added to RO water or Tap water mate. Like you say the A+B have some added so should be fine for now.

Might be better off playing by eye then and seeing what the plant shows as the A+B apparently contains about 4.5% and there will also be some already in the Tap water.

Yes and no, Yes if they were coco ferts he is using and no if they just straight water base hydro ferts which is what he has mate, basically coco base ferts contain a wee bit more calcium than water base ferts, so i think it will be called for and i find tis better preventing shit like calcium def happening cus once you have it like fuck can you stop it, i found you can slow it down but not stop it altogether progressing, well i couldn`t on full floweriong plants a few times in past. Hard water usually calcium carbonate and is no good and can`t be used by plants cus its too big to be taken up through roots and needs breaking down a bit firstly, so cool if growing organic but he isn`t or by tricking roots into using it with use fulvic acid but that doesn`t always work, although still a top product, but yes i think best idea is what i said in my last post mate. My bad mate, for some reason I assumed he was using Canna A+B. I have used CalMag from the start in all my grows as I use RO water etc. so not even like I have any experience in the subject.

I would certainly follow your advice if I was being mentored by you (oh wait I am, I will shut the fuck up and let you crack on mate)

So have you got any pictures, how are these looking. I think you should be starting them on ferts now mate, show us some pictures man

Give us a run down what your giving or feeding them now and how often as well, how much of each per liter of what too mate ? :)
