Yes its better.
Haha I was just jesting about coming to yours hahahaha. I wouldnt worry about beans :p
3kw is right yes, but what are you planning running? Make sure if your pikeying with an extension lead its the correct size cables, some are 1mm some 1.5 etc. You would be better either spurring or joining the ring main with 2.5 twin and earth.
Your not full retard, just semi so I can guide you if needed ;)

Re: Billys big bubbling buds, with green qube and invisible sun.
when it comes to lectrix im full retardo. altho i did manage to extend the circuit in the garage and it even looked like a sparky had done it lol.
i know about the different extension leads etc. ive got some plugs stuck to the outside of the house, for pressure washer, mower etc. there is only 2 of them, i dont know if they are on a seperate circuit, cos all the circuit labelling on my mains board has dissapeared, but they are at seperate ends of the house. id go under the floor and have a look, but im a) a fat caaant, and b) claustrophobic, so its not gonna happen. ive a mate whos a sparky, and does homers, but hes as reliable as a chinese watch, or id ask him to sort it out..
was thinking 3 or 4 x 600 HPS, s a couple of fans, 8 and 10 inch, oscillating fans x 2 , a couple of air pumps, and a couple of water pumps. i could pikey another extension lead out the window of the house or garage, if needed, but would rather not...
will see how it goes, need to build the fucka first....

Re: Billys big bubbling buds, with green qube and invisible sun.
Your pushing it tbh running 3-4 600w's and fans etc.
600w's are probably pulling 660-700 at the wall depending on ballasts. 4x 660 - 2640w and startup likely more unless they are soft start.
Add in the fans, pumps, etc you really are at the upper limit. If it was me, I would plug in a radio or similar to the sockets your unsure of and flick switches till it goes off. I would guess they are spurs not a seperate circuit. If they are a seporate circuit and you dont often use them, tap into the ring OR run a seperate breaker to the shed, 2.5 t&e and SWA where needed unless your bolted onto the house.

Re: Billys big bubbling buds, with green qube and invisible sun.
well, shed build on hold, ive been struck by the flu, from a 10 yr old, sweating loads just setting up the filter, some ducting and an airpump this morning, and managed a couple of sheets of flooring, before i was floored myself. ridiculous, eh?
Anyhow the filter is on, dont you just love those carboair filters with the easy hanging connectors, they are the bollox, truly....
Air pump is running to sort the ph out before tonights transplant. Seedlings are looking pretty good, one or two have dodgy leaves, but they are goin in anyway, hopefully they will sort thier lives out. The roots are about 3 inches out of the cubes, which is fine for transplant. im gonna try some roots excellerator on these, at just 1 ml per litre, see if it does anything.
lights will be set at 3 ft from seedlings and slowly lowered. The adjuster for dimming them, in the driver is a massive pain in the arse, i cant seem to get a screwdriver on it, so fuckittt, they will be on full pelt and just lowered. i might have another go, when im less baked...
unless anyone has a lux figure i should aim for ?
Pics tonight, ooh exciting eh?

Re: Billys big bubbling buds, with green qube and invisible sun.
right, well ive no patience, soooo. checked the ph and ec out, its fine, sitting at 0.7 ec and ph is 5.8.
2ml litre of grow, 1.2 ml per litre of roots xl, and 0.5 ml/litre of siilicone... magic , i tell thee
first up some filter and fan shots, with the leds set at about 2 feet drom the plants, ill just wing it and see how they do.
washed the hydroton last night and steeped it in 5.8 ph water for a day, sweeeet.

stuck the airstones in and its like Nanooks fancy jacuzzi...he only invites his posho friends over for a jacuzzi you know, at his ranch......
potting up in dwc 101, rinse hydroton, fill nets to about this height, put hydroton into nets till water is just bubbling through,
get rooted out seedling, like so and place on top of hydroton
back fill hydroton and bobs yer mothers live in lover
heres the widow xxl, its looking nice. the other widow survivor looked grim so i just stuck in 3 critical instead, the widow is nearest the shed door, for my crappy memory
and a critical
so we have the leds on and its time for lift off, buckle up, it could get gnarly in here... go LED go...........

stay tuned , im aiming for at least a gram per watt with these..

Re: Billys big bubbling buds, with green qube and invisible sun.
i do it because the hydroton is submerged in water for a week or so, while the roots get thier funky jazz on - just to save the ph from going bonkers
up here for thinking, down there for dancing
