The Effect of Prohibition on Cannabis Research in the UK

Post by The Aspie Toker »

Cannabis has been prohibited in the UK for almost a century, but prior to this, its use was widespread in the medical world. The plant enjoyed a long period of medical acclaim in the Western world after being used in parts of Africa and Asia for thousands of years. Since prohibition, however, medical research experienced a crippling decline that is still affecting our understanding of the plant today.

This is an excellent read. I'm in the middle of writing something myself to publish which includes a lot of points raised in this article, so it gives me great confidence in what I already write about.

The change is coming, in fact it's already here, we're all just anxiously waiting to see how government deal with it? :wtf: :idn:
