Let the best part begin and good luck minty
Thank you mate, yours are next so these are just practise ;o)

I might not be doing them in the Hydro as I originally promised as this AutoPot/Coco shit is so much easier and more importantly quieter in my bedroom ;o)

pop the fucker out of pots to have a goosey-gander and see what rootage is saying,
On this note mate, the one that got removed was popped out and she certainly wasn't root bound at all with the roots concentrated around the bottom half of the pot (with kinda a 'b-line' to the Air Dome) and because of the massive amount of clay pebbles I used (remember) it just made a nice little network of roots under the Coco and around the Air Dome like it was growing in Hydro. Seemed to be fine mate in terms of the excessive Veg period and plenty of room for expansion ;o)

I did notice the top 4th of the Coco was totally dry but this doesn't seem to be bothering them and I like it like that to suppress the bugs etc.

Overall, first impressions on the AutoPots and I am liking them.

Tied them back down again but like you said they are pretty much back up after just a day:-

After:-

Day Later :-

(Note: Both plants swapped positions as I am trouble shooting an issue (i.e. the difference in medium colour in the middle pic) with one pot not wicking as much after taking it out of the system, letting it dry out overnight and then changing my mind and putting it back into the system..

The tie down has made a difference but I will leave them be for a while now and looking at another defoliate and tie down in a week or two.

Those are some really healthy plants bro, well done and using one wire to tie down all the branches at once is actually pretty ingenious, I'm gonna have to steal that from you!

Most of my inspiration comes from your grows mate so steal away. The plants had already been trained in the long veg stage so seemed easier to just strap them down rather than tie them down ;o)

Surprised how low they actually are now so have loads of room to stretch as required.

@Minty they don`t and won`t need tieing down after 2 weeks on 12/12, really tis like that for a reason too, reason being they have a week left stretching and they need to grow out of their tieing back session so as to have lots of nice long big top buds, you have plenty of height now so just bare that in mind. Tbh looking at them now they don`t really need tieing back anymore if you have plenty of height left like 2 to 3 ft. Yes your cool on another defoliating session around 3 weeks into bloom but you don`t wanna be chopping any stems away now cus you`ll missing point of defoliating, you`ve gona to town on those and they looking great man. Remember you can easily knock plants back iff you over do it so it may take a little longer for them to start flowering lets say 3 week instead of 2 then again you might not and they could be sound.

As for different shades of coco auto pot etc thats boobah cus if plant was struggling it would be drooping and looking thirsty and those aren`t, remember theirs not much rootage at all around tops of pots so its not where theirs much wettness is gonna be.

Last but not least if that`s a 1.2metre square tent man your really gonna smash this grow out of park justy going by top view, then again it depends how ruthless you get with them at certain times, remember their a timer for everything for a reason :)

@2-Scoops, tbh mate they spent so long in veg that tieing them down is not really doing much. I guess it is spacing them outta the middle a little so promoting airflow etc. They are already stretching again and I don't think height is going to be an issue as I have at least 3 ft as they currently sit.

In terms of flowering and the darkness etc. Does it need to be complete darkness as I am not so sure my tent is light tight (in fact I know it is not due to the cuts in the tent to make it fit into the limited space). Should I be tackling this issue now as before it didn't really make any difference when the Auto's were in the tent but I guess this is a little more important for Photo Period plants.

Yea, I think it was just the fact that it was removed from the system for 24 hours and deliberately dried out so I could remove it from the pot etc, but then last min decided to swap out a different plant... You know me mate, If I can make it more complicated I will ;o)

Yes mate, it is a (1.2m x 1.2m x 2m) tent and hopefully there will not be many more times where I should need to man handle them

No signs of flowering yet, but she does look like she is stretching:-
