If you can keep the leaves from transpiring to much moisture, I’ll be surprised if she don’t root! Young ones like that are pretty easy to change cell function in

Re: Minty 1 Pint Grow Diary - Tropical Cookies Double XXL
Day 12 Update
The replacement seed I germinated 'just-in-case' is doing better than the original broken stem clone, so the new and obviously improved (has at least one root) Mr Hydro-Boy will stand in as the contender for #TeamTropical on the Blue side.
The original broken stem clone has been moved to the bathroom window in some water (as it is still alive but not really moving) but if it does start surviving I will deal with that as a side project
and look after it obviously #PlantLifeMatters
Disclaimer: will be first to be flushed if the door knocks and I have more than 8!
Team Hydro - Reserves

Red side, Team Coco hasn't really done anything since day one (I think it's too stoned to be arsed):-

So at least it should be a good personal race between my own Team Blue and Team Red. Hydro is defo gonna catch that slow Fairy up
;o)

I do it to learn mate, It's defo not going to work as not many things work for me first time but this is how I learn - the hard way ;o)
Interesting, and after a good couple of days with no signs of roots or anything the leaves are still good and it is totally alive
I may have just killed it by moving it out of the 24/7 light source but I want to learn from that and it was pretty much either doomed or due to be culled under my personal plant count mate so for science it was moved out.

Re: Minty 1 Pint Grow Diary - Tropical Cookies Double XXL
The original Hydro attempt that I broke in half has rooted just by sitting in some tap water in the bathroom ;o)

So I stuck her in some 50% Coco / 50% Perlite mix (with some clay pebbles at the bottom)

The other seem to be doing fine for now:-
Team Blue - Hydro Reserve:-

Team Red - Coco:-

Re: Minty 1 Pint Grow Diary - Tropical Cookies Double XXL
Sure mate, looks alright but I did notice that it is using BlueTooth (so for the advertised Wifi you have to purchase the separate HUB). Also might be worth pointing out that it is not waterproof and requires an enclosure if mounting it outside. So overall I would say a little expensive for what it is and personally I would just make one for half the price.
- BME280 Sensor + LCD Screen + Wifi Adaptor - £15.00 from Amazon
- Ardunio Nano - £9.00 for 2 from Amazon
- 3.7V 1000mAh Lithium Rechargable Battery - £14 for 4 from Amazon

Thank you for the thoughtful and informative reply!I appreciate it! They actually ended up sending me two over night lmao so I’ll do a solid review! Thanks for pointing out that it isn’t waterproof tho, I hadn’t thought of that although I plan to use them in tents anywaysMinty wrote: ↑Sat Jul 25, 2020 3:45 pmSure mate, looks alright but I did notice that it is using BlueTooth (so for the advertised Wifi you have to purchase the separate HUB). Those are just an example of the components required and if your happy enough with just a DHT22 (which I suspect the SensorPush is using) there are some DIY projects showing how to get these up and running which are pretty straight forward.
