With the warm spell the res temp was 27C no oxygen available for the roots at them temps.
My res is getting up to 25 at the min - but there is not a lot I can do apart from sit it out and hope. The temps are totally mad in my loft so I need to look for a plan.

Always hard in lofts to control temps unless they are insulated well Minty. Coco is more forgiving when it comes to temps of your res, if i have to i will just add a couple ice bottles in there but its going to be cooler this week so should fall back into range 22-23C .

Thank you KBag mate.

How do you mean insulated well? I have loft insulation but I suspect this is not what you are talking about.

After talking to GMO I have just switched my fresh air intake 4" roof duct into a general exhaust to extract the air from the loft and that defo seem to be helping - temps in the tent are still high but at least now the chiller is working and keeping the water below 21℃ for now.

I've definitely seen worse stats up there ;o)

I'm definitely coming around to the whole Coco growing - just seems like better results for a lot less pump noise and hassle.
