Hey all,

A little update. I did a booboo lol gave these plants a touch of sunburn by the looks of it. I think I caught it in time but I expect some necrosis to appear over the next few days. I underestimated the power of the T5 :)

Light damage, looks tres cool though :)

I've just watered them today with a little calmag (0.1EC), urb, enzymes and a little root stimulator. #prayerformangosapphire

Just a quick update, I've been giving these a little bit of calmag to stabilise the water a bit and a daily foliar and they have been recovering well.

The foliar recipe used was 2.5ml hydro burst, 2.5ml nitrozyme, 0.3ml of Canna CaMg. PH was around 6.2 and EC was 0.7 after mixing.

Some striping? Light damage or Mg? What do you think guys. This was taken a yesterday I think.

Ready for their shower :)

Thought I'd show you them looking wet. It looks like they stressed but if you see this don't worry, it's just the weight of the water.

Hey GR420,

Been slackingnon my diraries once again. These have been a little up and down with the weather and me figuring out what they like and don't like. Growth has slowed a little I think due to the heat but they still plodding along. I'll be re-potting them tomorrow into some tall 3ltr pots with some fresh batmix.

They're getting 2ml ltr alga grow, a little root stim, urb beanies and a daily foliar with the Natural Mistik from Dragonfly Earth Medicine.

Hey GR420 mandem,

Another week and things have slowed down a little. We had a bitof a heat wave this week so my clone tent was getting a bit sweaty. They also were a little potbound maybe because they was starting to wilt a few hours in the mornings. I've repotted them in some nice 3 ltr pots and they rocking along again now.

I've bought another sunblaster to cover the area and I've dropped the lights again :) hopefully I won't fry them again :)

I also had one of my lamps fall flat on a plant :'( she's OK though.

They are looking great Grumpy. So is that the batmix? I've just had a sack if it arrive but it won't get used for a while until my clones need repotting.

Did you have to flush it first for plants that size or was it just straight in?

I think Marcus is using it too but just adding water during veg. Has your experience of batmix dictated the use of other nutes or is it a matter of reading the plants as you go?

(second grow noob questions I'm afraid!)

Hey TicTok,

Thanks bud. Yes, they in batmix fella. I should of flushed it but didn't because I forgot to. I started two in rockwool and one straight in thr batmix and all were fine. Batmix is a great allrounder because it doesn't burn your plants.

Same here, they got thr odd top up in the smaller pots because the plants seem to use up the goodies a little faster when using RO water. I do give them beneficial beanies, kelp and I'm foliar treating these atm. Batmix is super easy and the plants always lool super healthy :) I love a nice shiny leaf. Hopefully it will stay on the same path.

Word up gr420!!

Another week and another update. These are coming along nicely. I've been trying to keep them short but they about to start moving so I've chopped them back and topped them again to let some light into the middle. I've ordered some of my usual round training trellis thingys that people have a habit of stealing

https://www.homeandgardenextras.com/pla ... pport-p321

I wonder if anyone else has a training technique they use to maximize foliage?

They seem to be doing great. A little slow but I'm attributing it to the heat we've had. And they all stink :) love a stinky plant lol. I'm really loving how uniformed they seem to be! I'm not going to call it just yet though lol I've been bit previously!

Pre hair cut.
