Re: Mentor Request Thread
Hi all. Just glad to say I found this group
I’m transitioning from soil to coco. My room is 8/5/7 I run canna nutrients with two gavita 1000sde. The coco I’m using is cann coco professional plus in 25 litre pots with airdromes. I’m seeking a mentor to increase my yields and quality. I have essential ph and ec pens and ph up and down from growth technology’s.
I hope everyone is doing good and their gardens are thriving. Many thanks in advance

tbh if you have some experience already id say fire up a diary and youll get lots of input. 25l pots is pretty massive for coco if your planning 2x2 foot area ish per plant
but have a read of keenos write ups on light and space and plant count
ill be around if ya need anything else mate ;)

Re: Mentor Request Thread
Hello!
Looking for a patient mentor as I’m at lost in growing from seed.
I live in Massachusetts so the weather now is great, (it can get super hot but humidity is good)
I grew mowie-wowie, ob1 and GS Cookie in the past but I did it from plant and the plants were big enough to plant in my garden.
Because of covid19 I couldn’t find a friend with plants this spring so I decided to grow them from seeds.
Last month I tried Germinating 6 seeds using the wet paper towel method, in warm place. 5 of them germinated but before the tiny plant came out the shell they started to die.
I tried different things: less/more water, direct sunlight/dark. Etc.
They died. Rip.
I just received some seeds I was waiting for so I just put them in a wet paper towel inside a black plastic container And left it in my kitchen as it is the warmest place in my house right now.
(My husband loves his ac).
Should I give them some light or keep them in the dark?
Do I give them too much water and that’s why they died?
Should I just wait until the plant comes out the shell to plant them?
So many questions so little time.
I really, REALLY need these seeds to do well as I need at least 2 plants ready by late fall so I can make oil for my disabled son. (2 plants usually lasts him 10-12 months)
Let me know if you can help! Thank you!
