Re: Malana Bomb Autos Barney’s Farm
Thanks for all of the help!
I just want to be clear on what to do. Ha. Should I:
A) Mix 1/4 of tap with 3/4 RO and then add CalMag+
B) Mix the RO and CalMag+ first and then mix the RO & CalMag+ 3/4 with 1/4 of tap
C) Mix 3/4 RO with 1/4 tap and no CalMag+
Then add the Fox Farm nutes to A, B, or C when needed following a feed/feed/water schedule?

Do you test the EC of your water? If so, post it here and I'll give you my recommendation.

I didn’t get a pen for testing, because I was told not to. That’s one of the things I want advice on which to buy for my next grow. Ha. Need a ph pen too, I think, because I don’t feel like I get an accurate enough knowing of what it is from the GH drops and comparing it to the chart.

The drops are fine when using soil. Plenty accurate enough :) OK, you should be able to look up your water hardness on your municipal water suppliers website. If you can't find it, PM me your town/city and I'll see if I can get that information.

Re: Malana Bomb Autos Barney’s Farm
Thanks, so your tap water is pretty unique! But very soft indeed. Your tap water contains 45mg/L. Soft water is between 61 - 120mg/L. In comparison my tap water contains 320mg/L. Based on what I jst read, I'd use 100% municipal water and a little camg+ too.

Re: Malana Bomb Autos Barney’s Farm
Awesome! Thanks! Should I fill my five gallon jugs with tap, let them sit 24 hours, then mix in 2.5ml/gal CaMg+? This help is greatly appreciated!grumpygrower wrote: ↑Sat Apr 04, 2020 11:55 pmThanks, so your tap water is pretty unique! But very soft indeed. Your tap water contains 45mg/L.
