I think a potential issue that could have caused the suffering of the plants while I was away was that the temperature dropped quite low - the minimum temperature said 14.5C - I guess I shouldn't have turned off the heating before leaving! I hope that was the issue!

The middle of the pineapple looks fine and the damaged leaves will eventually fall off. They need fresh air on them now. So just open in the tent will be fine. If you have a fan air movement is helpful. Good luck with it all mate.

Day 60:
The Blue Dream is really getting much denser now - I'm quite happy with it! The Pineapple Express is chugging along - showing issues on the fan leafs but otherwise ripening. I really don't know how far in it is. I took some pictures of a sugar leaf further down - not at the very top in the hope it's representative for the average bud site. What do you think? I know I have to look out for clear vs. cloudy vs. amber - but to be honest I can already see all of that in those pictures. Another problem is that my landlord has asked a company to have an energy survey in my flat - I could delay it to March 23 but I feel like that's really pushing it with the Blue Dream and I need to take the tent down when they're here. I can maybe postpone it a little more...
Also it seems I'll be moving country in September, which means that I probably won't run another grow this summer which pains me as I was already looking forward to it and I was already making plans which of the seeds I won here I want to grow next! So life is a bit of an emotional rollercoaster right now and I am glad I have the hobby of looking after my plants and following along your journals.

Please let me know your thoughts on those trichomes - what ratio of colours do you see in there and how much longer do you reckon?

By the pics these do look cloudy and a few ambers, but they are nowhere near ready by the look of the plants buds.

Thanks kbag, so in that case do I wait until the buds look right? Or do I by the colour of the trichomes?
How do I know I'm ready for harvest?
