Dry dry top and soggy roots, they don't enjoy being soggy.
That was the problem I had last time I 12l smart pots in soil found out to late tho I think,

I been trying to find something to sit these on but that dowel is a good idea have to get some

I would pot them up if it was me. But they could stay in those 2 or 3 days I would say.
Whoever said the best things in life are free blatantly grew their own pot

I put mine straight into a 12lt fabric pot as soon as its sprouted on the wet paper.

Both autos and photos.
I m a bit lazy. I'm not a fan of moving plants from pot to pot. For me the roots can find their own way and if I mess with them I might break or damage
